Grecian Chic

Do you remember Helen of Troy?

Maybe you should rent the DVD – because she is inspiring a lot of style this summer.

zoeteesThe ancient goddesses (and temptresses) were all about the toga, and the drapery trend looks a lot like what they used to don. You’ll see a lot of it, too, in creams and flesh-tones – also reminiscent – and is a great way to summer our inner goddess!

You probably already saw a variant of this trend in the maxi dress…but I think this specific draping Grecian-like look was revived when our gorgeous First Lady wore a one-shoulder variant to the inauguration ball.

Shown here: Zoe Tees Black Riviera Grecian Style Dress, $195 at MyWardrobe.com – how hot is this? And imagine all the sins it can hide. We love drapery, oh yes we do. I’d add it with gold gladiator sandals, to complete the look.
