Roberto Cavalli Chain-Print Top & Jeans

When you see fashions on the runways that are outrageous, it’s hard sometimes to pick apart the pieces and figure out how you could wear them in “real life.” I had the same feeling when I saw this Roberto Cavalli outfit at Neiman Marcus.

Sure, my first thought was, “What the ….?” But after I looked at this ensemble a bit, I fell in love with the top. This ivory v-neck shirt features a gold chain print and ruched front. It’s sweet and sexy, while also being edgy and cool. This top would work with a lot of different looks this season. I could imagine pairing it with jeans (not the the matching jeans shown!), a pencil skirt or any number of other items in my closet.

I really can’t fathom wearing the pants though. What say you? Could you pull them off?
