worst disaster is when i lost a bet and shaved my head
Pretty much all of the 80’s was a hair disaster for me!
i once had the worst perm in the entire world.it was so bad i came thisclose to shaving my head
While blowdrying my hair my hairdryer blew up in my hand~(fire sparks came out and burned my hand while I unplugged it from the wall…I drove myself to the E.R. my hand was “killing” me unless I had it under cool water (the 12 minutes to the E.R. seemed like eternity)…obviously I survived:) Another time, I couldn’t get the grill to light, threw on (full blast) all 4 burner dials, looked down and up close and WHOOSH!!! It felt like I got thrown back…my eyebrows, eyelids and front of my hair (thank goodness it was tied back in a pony tail) got rather singed and boy did it smell! I’m a walking disaster.

Uh! One time my little sister was TRYING to braid my hair but instead she put a bunch of knots it in! Took me 3 hours to be able to run a brush through it.
My worse hair disaster was about 7 years ago. I went to the beauty salon to get my hair lightened. The person doing my hair used a hair cap and spent alot of time pulling strands through the cap. They put bleach on the hair and left it on way to long. When they took off the cap and rinsed my hair it was pure white! It looked so awful and my hair was beyond fryed. The hairdresser felt so awful that she redid it for free, but it was beyond repair. It was quite drastic going from a beautiful light brown to pure white.
Trying to have my mom give me a layered look haircut & what a disaster, I had to go to the salon & she had to cut my hair the shortest it ever has been!
One time many years ago when the curly perms were in…I went and had one and it looked so awful on me that I wanted to shave my head!
When I was 15 I trimmed my bangs. They weren’t even so my dad offered to help.
Ended up with 1 inch bangs – so embarrassing!
My worst hair day was when my mother gave me a perm when I was ten years old and she left it in too long and burned my hair. I had to go to school the next day and all the kids made fun of me. That was 57 years ago and I will never fotget it….
Around two years back, I tried dying my hair blonde for the first time in my life. It turned out this bright copper color because my hair has auburn highlights. I waited too long to re-do the roots so I had to redye it completely. My hair was two shades of copper until I dyed the whole mess back to a very dark brown.
I tried to dye my hair blonde (from medium brown) and it turned pink!!! It took forever to get it back to normal. I’ll never try that again!!!
My orphan Annie like perm from third grade. Need I say more?
I have 2 awful experiences. The first happened when my sister highlighted my super dark brown hair with bleach blonde streaks… I wore my hair in a pony tail for 3 months; the other time was in high school I had my hair done for homecoming and it looked like my head was throwing up curls
My worst hair disaster was one time after I had a perm. My hair was firzzy and too curly. I gained the name of buckwheat for a while.
My worst hair disaster happened in 7th grade – I had a perm go bad! We did not have any money to go get it fixed so I walked around with POOFY hair for about 2 years.
When I was 12, I bought dye to lighten the hair on my arms and thought I’d give myself some subtle highlights, but they turned out not to be subtle at all, but bright orange fright streaks on my dark brown hair.
Right now my biggest problem is static – it drives me absolutely crazy all winter long!
Organic hair products are tops.
13 year old and wanted blonde hair, saved all of my allowance (we were very poor so it took a long time) and I bought a box of hair dye that had a lovely shade of blonde on the front of the box. My girlfriend followed the instructions and dyed my very brown long hair. My hair turned orange and I couldn’t afford to fix it. Two months after my color grew out some I got all of my long orange hair cut off. I had to live with that color for two months.
Ionce tired to go blonde(i have very dark hair)………it turn 24 shades of red, blondes, oranges, brown, & I swear there was some green.
I looked liked a spriograph threw up on my head.
Just recently, I wanted a few highlights before my high school reunion. The girl obviously didn’t know what she was doing, because I ended up with highlights that were super curly, which means she burned my hair. Nice…
When I had cancer and had to have chemo and lost most of my hair. My hair did grow back and I’m now cancer free and happy just to be alive. Thanks for having the contest!
I made the mistake of dyeing my hair for the first time before an important function. I am a blonde and my hair turned out a bright orange yellow color that could have probably stood out in a snow storm.
A friend offered to give me highlights and I ended up with streaky, brassy hair!
A hairdresser fried my hair,Im not joking she
give me a perm and it was so frizzy and barely
curly.I wore a scarf for a week and kept conditoning it.I got my money back after I
showed the manager. She looked at it and said
“Im really sorry”.It was a horrible experience
As young teenagers my sisters and I tried to cut one anothers hair.
My worst hair disaster occured on the day my husband was honered by the city. I had to go straight to the hall from work so I brought everything with me and set my hair and changed in the bathroom. One of my co-workers offered to help me and ran a wet comb through my hair. No curles and no time. A really bad hair day.
I had a bad hair cut. Yuck!
I think I’ve suffered all the “hair disasters†and each one seemed like the worst at the time. I wanted to put paper bag over my head! I’ve had the haircut from he!!, the fried perm, and the dyed orange, green, or purple hair. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this giveaway!
I have never heard of this brand but like the idea of organic hair products. I hope i’m the winner as I would love to try these products!
I have very thick hair and a lot of it. Got a perm back in the 80s and a multi-layered cut. Needless to say, you could not find my face for all the hair. To boot the stylist burned the back of my neck–a really painful reminder never to perm my hair again.
Every time I find a product that works for me, it’s discontinued, reformulated, or changed and no one can tell me what replaced the product. Salons tell me, no one was buying it…..I AM! I love the Styling Creme…..please never never never change it!
