Crazy Fun Carrie
I LOVE all the photos being released during the filming of Sex and the City: The Movie. Each one is drool-worthy in its own right, but a bunch have been pretty Manhattan Career Chick and not so much TeenStyleLounge Chick. That is, until I found this one.
Is this outfit not fab? It’s so fun and funky, I can just envision all of you sashaying down the halls at school in something like this. Check out what they’ve done here: there are lengths of every type. Long socks, short skirt, long sweater, high heels. Totally unexpected pairings for sure, but don’t they make the coolest statement? Even if you’re not down with the patterns, you could still duplicate this look by using plaids, polka dots, stripes or even solids. The key is to play with lengths.
And the operative word here is “Play”. No need to get all freakishly strategic. You want to look cool and pulled together, but in an effortless way. I say, start throwing stuff together and if you like it – you’ve got a winner.
