Heelarious : Heels For Babies, Yay or Nay

The Heelarious creators are being tongue and cheeky about these new shoes for babies that has apparently been sold out in 22 States. Soft-soled shoes with heels, from sizes 0-6 months are supposed to be for babies whose Mothers are trendy and fashion conscious. *rolleyes*. I consider myself those two, and I love wearing heels myself but would I’ve bought my daughter a pair when she was those age? Of course not. Haven’t they heard of the phrase, “just because you could, doesn’t mean you should”? Eh, to each is own I guess. No for me, how about you?

Style Tots Fashionista : Her New Pediped Shoes From 2008 Spring Collection

I received her shoes from the Pediped Originals 2008 Spring/Summer collection yesterday. As soon as she saw the purple box, she knew she has a new pair of shoes. I took out the Grace Brown w/ Pink Dots Pediped from the box and she couldn’t wait to get her footsies in ‘em. She was so happy that she started dancing and acting all sassy. As usual, I went trigger happy …

I know that upon seeing her smile, her Daddy was thinking, “it’s worth all the 10 minutes her mother bugged me to buy her another pair of a $30 shoes“. Hehehe

Since we’re here. Lil Miss is wearing a pink eyelet top, pink skirt and the Pediped shoes, holding her pink glasses. Her hair is adorned with a blue headband and is wearing white gold hoop earrings from Auntie Star but you can’t really see them up close.

Suri Cruise looking all cute and elegant in her red collared and ruffled hem top, shorts in either denim or tweed, can’t really tell from this picture, black tights and metallic silver Mary Jane. Just another shopping day with Mama Kate in Maxfield(Hollywood) last December. I love Suri’s style. I could actually see this kind of style in my daughter. Of course TomKat’s toddler is probably an outfit worth my 2(or more) months car payments.. LOL.

This Lil Miss loves to take pictures. She loves dressing up too. As soon as I put this purple nautical tunic with silver embossed butterfly on her, she was clapping with glee. She couldn’t wait to show Daddy and Big Brother her new outfit. I told her to come back to her room though so she could put on her black mary janes to finish her cute ensemble. When she heard the word “shoes”, she was all smiles.. LOL.

If you’re looking for a red patent mary janes similar to the Pediped Isabella but is not willing to pay the Pediped price(around $35), here’s a pair from Payless. This red patent mary janes with ruffles and bow vamp is only $12.99. I would so get this in a heartbeat if only my husband would shut his mouth about our daughter already owning a pair of a red shoes from Pediped.

Oh My, I have this huge thug in my heart to buy it online and when it gets here, I’ll just say, “Errr, Auntie Star bought it“. That would work really well if I am a good liar. I think this is one of those instances when I’ll say being honest is a curse. Dammit. Anyway, please get a pair for your daughter and make me happy(or jealous) .
