The universe has Twilight fever.
I have yet to see the movie – but I hope to SOON. (Or at least own the book for plane reading…did I mention I’m going to Mexico in six days???)
But anyway, I am digressing (yet again).

Are we mooning over yet another yellow sundress?
Why, yes I am. As the season of citrus continues, I find myself smitten once more with this shade of lemon – this time BB Dakota’s Charlize Dress.
It’s pretty simple by design: A scoop neck button-down sundress with tie around waist and crocheted hem, but that’s part of the beauty! Pair it with your favorite sandals, or even flip flops and you are done!
I also love to wear my sundresses into the night with my favorite light-weight crochet cardigans. Summer nights get chilly, but that is a great way to ease the transition!

The following is a very sad story.
Remember, earlier this week when I found a BB Dakota dress I had to have…and they were sold out in my size everywhere?
Well, I found a different one I like…and it’s sold out in my size too!!!
How adorable is this, anyway? It’s the Strawberry Pink Meyers Dress, also from BB Dakota, is flirty and retro and adorably chic in a summer sheath style. The color is pink textured cotton, something of a strawberry shade, and it looks absolutely darling right down to the single overscaled bow.

Last week, I was browsing the local boutiques looking for a dress to wear to an upcoming formal event, and came across the BB Dakota section at one of the more exclusive locations.
I’ve made no secret that BB Dakota is one of my all-time favorite designers. They are unique, eye-catching, and surprisingly affordable. On the rack was a dress I immediately had to have.
