There’s definitely lots of them around… some I like, some I really don’t like at all. I know how we all love our boots with heels that make us look so tall and willowy, but every once in a while, we crave flats. And if anyone is going to know how to pull it off, it will be Steve Madden!

It has been the oddest winter so far and as much as I wish it were true, I don’t think that it’s over quite yet. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t get out and enjoy what winter has to offer. Just bundle up, slip these onto the bottom of your boots and go for that daily walk. No worries about falling… been there and done that in my own driveway!

Still enjoying the December sunshine in Florida and while I’m here, it’s really easy to turn my thoughts to springtime and the shoes that I might want to consider Even my husband commented on them as he went by the kitchen table where I am working at the moment. He thought that they would look cute with a little black skirt. That’s all the enticement I need lol… he just doesn’t know it yet!

I was spending some time  last night looking for the perfect pair of shoes and didn’t find anything that appealed to me. Must have been a first… but I did find these boots and fell in love with them in an instant!! They come in brown or black, but for these boots, the brown is winning out!

I wasn’t even looking for a pair of shoes this morning, but the unusual ankle detailing caught my eye. It also reminded me that I need a new pair of shoes for the Christmas party that is later this month. My husband is either going to have to change jobs, or I need new clothes. Everyone at his office has seen everything I own. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
