I am generally not a fan of the clutch – quite simply because I live with a fear of putting it down somewhere and losing it. The like happens with my keys, phone, umbrella, and other handheld accessories all the time.
However, many of the cocktail events I go to demand wearing something a little more elegant than my giant satchel, and I have found the perfect accompaniment.
BCBG’s Leather Clutch is simply fierce. I heart the bag’s unique shape, exotic skin and classic turn lock closure. Plus, it’s python-stamped – another great trend for fall..which is yet another way to stay …read more

Pleats, ruffles and other feminine touches are hot trends this spring. Pleats are a favorite of mine, whether in dresses, tops, shoes or handbags. They add some texture and depth to whatever you are wearing.
This turquoise satin flap clutch just screams spring with it’s vibrant, fun color and pleated silhouette. This bag is on sale right now at Nordstrom for 50% off.
Perfect for a spring party, this blue handbag measures 12 inches wide – large enough to carry anything you need. Originally $158, it’s now just $78.90. Shop soon because deep discounts like this won’t last long.

I’m loving the “Lily” clutch from Lodis (and not only cause it shares a name with my gorgeous shih-tsu!), versatile enough to go anywhere – from the red carpet to a night on the town.
Shown in azure, fuchsia, lemon, grass and lilac, they retail for $235 each and are available at lodis.com – a totally worthwhile splurge for spring that will complement your every bright wardrobe addition!

The first thing that occurred to me when I saw this clutch was how gorgeous it would be to carry on New Year’s Eve. That is a really special night for me as it was the night I met my husband-to-be. Yes, there is a lot you can say about Blind Dates… but this one worked out.
And every once in a while you have to treat yourself to something you really don’t need. It might not be a Jimmy Choo clutch, but it still should be something special.

This is rather pretty and like nothing else I have at the moment. I think it’s the texture of the bag that caught my attention. It reminds me of drinking straws and strawberry milkshakes?? I have no idea where that came from… but I haven’t had breakfast yet, so maybe that’s it.
And just in case you are wondering, it comes in black too. Black licorice?? Okay, I’m heading down to breakfast right now!
Isabel Kwei Knotted Metallic Clutch
Now here is a clutch with a different look…
* iron or bronze metallic lambskin.
* knotted detailing that seems really popular this season
* Sueded goatskin lining.
For some reason it seems to have a 20s look to it.

Jessica Simpson Patcha Clutch
The clutch measures 8 1/2″ high, 12 3/4″ wide, 1 1/2″ deep just in case you are wondering… I thought that it would be smaller than that! I could live with that size.
$70.00 and available at Piperlime
