Okay, Britt and I spent the entire day shopping yesterday. We haven’t come close to checking out all the the department stores… which I want to do but what I have seen so far, I’m loving. What I’m not liking is the frigid winds that blow down Michigan Avenue. They are so intense that I had to buy a pair of gloves and a headband to stay anywhere close to warm. I just heard today that because 2008 obviously ends in an “eight”, we are going to have a very unusual winter this year. I’m hoping that this is going to mean warmer than usual… which would give me a good reason to pick up shoes that look like this! And I’m really liking that icy pink! And if winter turns out to be a snowy one, I can always put them away until the summer  of 2008!
