The result is a perfectly solid perfume that glides onto the skin without feeling sticky, like many other solid fragrances. You definitely can smell the florals and the tropical aroma too but as it lingers, the remaining fragrance is a sweet candy-like scent. It’s not overwhelming and very fresh. Siren is definitely one of my favorites from Paris.

Paris Hilton Siren was developed by perfumer Honorine Blanc. It comes in 50 ml ($45) and 100 ml ($55) Eau de Parfum, as well as matching body products. You can find it at Macy’s and Boscov’s.

One of my favorite things on the list is this Ralph Lauren fragrance. Sure, perfume might be a played out idea for a Mother’s Day gift, but this particular perfume is anything but ordinary. The limited-edition Love Eau de Parfum Amethyst comes heart-shaped bottle with a 24k, handpainted gold cap. On top of the cap is a gorgeous amethyst from the mines of North Brazil.

The perfume is priced at $2,200 but looks to be worth every penny. The scent is a fabulous floral oriental that smells absolutely delectable.

Even if you can’t splurge on your mom this Mother’s Day, there are plenty of things you can do for her that won’t cost much at all.

• Give her a CD of pictures of the two of you together.

 If you were around in the 60s or 70s, chances are pretty good that you are going to recognize this fragrance. I know that it definitely perked up my interest when I heard about it. If you are unfamiliar with the fragrance, close your eyes and think about these scents… cedar, moss, sandalwood, vanilla, white musk and of course, patchouli. Very earthy!

Yes, I’m definitely drooling. If I was to buy this, it would be my MOST EXPENSIVE FRAGRANCE. It’s coming in at $2,350.00! And what is adding to the cost, you might be asking??
