It’s Mother’s Day, did you forget to give your mom a gift? If you really want to treat her to something special, check out the indulgent gift ideas from Neiman Marcus. From luxury handbags to home decor, there’s something for everyone — no matter her style.

One of my favorite things on the list is this Ralph Lauren fragrance. Sure, perfume might be a played out idea for a Mother’s Day gift, but this particular perfume is anything but ordinary. The limited-edition Love Eau de Parfum Amethyst comes heart-shaped bottle with a 24k, handpainted gold cap. On top of the cap is a gorgeous amethyst from the mines of North Brazil.

The perfume is priced at $2,200 but looks to be worth every penny. The scent is a fabulous floral oriental that smells absolutely delectable.

Even if you can’t splurge on your mom this Mother’s Day, there are plenty of things you can do for her that won’t cost much at all.

Clean her house.
Cook her a week’s worth of dinners and freeze them.
Run her errands.
Give her a CD of pictures of the two of you together.
Write a handwritten letter about everything she means to you.

It’s Bargain Day and I have found the perfect slippers at a really great price!! Actually, I was at the mall just yesterday, looking for slippers and they were either too expensive or the cut made my feet look fat. That’s right… FAT! Now leave it to Bealls to offer a great looking slipper at a price that I like. Just look at the rounded cut of the toes. The slippers that I was looking at yesterday were kind of cut straight across which made your foot look really wide. Needless to say, I didn’t buy them. And lucky for me.

*Note to those of you who are thinking about Christmas shopping already, I don’t think that anyone on your list would not like a pair of these.

Have You Started Thinking About Mother’s Day Yet?

I thought that I would begin featuring items that might put a smile on your Mom’s face for Mother’s Day. Lets start with this set from Dior. Included in this Dior ‘J’adore’ Mother’s Day Set is a pleated pouch with metallic ‘D’ insignia inspired by the Dior Evening Collection along with eau de parfum (1.7 oz.), body lotion (2.5 oz. tube) and shower gel. I think that should appeal to her girly side!!

I had so much fun spending mine last year, I thought that I would take a look to see what Lush is up to. There’s just soooo many goodies to choose from, I don’t know where to start. So, the gift card to the rescue. (*still hoping that I get one tomorrow when we exchange gifts with my son) Anyway, it’s worth considering if you have someone on your gift list who likes all things Lush. My Mother-In-Law once said that a woman simply couldn’t own too many watches and my daughter seems to be following in her footsteps.
