Last night, the incredible people at Avon, a company committed to empowering women, invited me to share a precious moment with them – we went to an exclusive screening of the upcoming movie, Precious.
It’s pretty hard to make me shed a tear, and I was weepy by about 15 minutes in. And it’s made me realize how lucky I am. Like, sure, I can’t afford the new MacBook that I covet..but I have cute bags and shoes, and most importantly – awesome friends and loved ones, like you guys.

Shop For Your Man: Gilt Man Launches

Today, Gilt – one of my daily stops for private-sale shopping, is launching Gilt MAN, a site completely dedicated to the men’s categories.
Now, why is this is a good thing? Clearly, our men need help. We will shop for them anyway. This will help us to do so with our favorite labels at better prices. But it’s also guy friendly! It even is written in “guy voice”.But it’s not just guy fashions, it’s all sorts of guy-oriented stuff.
