Today’s the day I get to pick what I want… for no good reason and today, it’s a pool. And what’s nice about this one is that it can be used indoor or out. Not sure how you bring this indoors, but just think of the exercise that you could get year round. That waistline that I have been working on… should be a snap if you can exercise in water whenever you want to.
*For those of you who can’t swim, this pool is only 39 inches deep which should take the worry out of the practicing process.

I have been doing a lot of complaining lately about my back aching and that it was my office chair that was to blame and I honestly thought that it was. Apparently not. Have you ever climbed out of bed feeling absolutely horrid for no reason?? Well, maybe there is a reason after all. From what I have been reading, germs can live in the wet bristles of your toothbrush for quite a long time. Kind of gross when you think about it. So, perhaps sterilizing the toothbrush on a regular basis really is the way to go!

I just spotted this rack and instantly thought of my daughter. I really should use weights, but unfortunately I don’t and I really don’t know a lot about them… so I just called upstairs to ask her why she thinks that they are so important. Here’s what she said… in a nutshell… weights create muscle which means that you are burning calories without doing anything. I think that was the jist of it. After so many years of sitting in front of a computer… okay it hasn’t been all that long, but it seems to be enough to warrant taking up Yoga and at the end of my session, I am supposed to relax into the Corpse pose… a position that is a lot better than it sounds. I’m to close my eyes for ten minutes and let my back muscles relax. That also means shutting off your brain for those ten minutes.

I really hated giving up the epilator. If you stayed on top of it every day, within a week or so, the job was quick and legs silky soft. *And each day took less and less time. I have this really hard time sitting in a car for more than 30 minutes at a time. You can imagine how sitting in a car from Toronto to Florida was for me. But I just found this cushion this morning and I’m wondering if this would help?? If anyone has used it or anything similar, please let me know. It has been the oddest winter so far and as much as I wish it were true, I don’t think that it’s over quite yet. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t get out and enjoy what winter has to offer.
