To know me is to know that two of my great loves are my deliciously girlie pink and black new-wave-esque apartment and my treasured black MacBook, iZac.

I fully believe a home is made a home based on the minor accent details…and half the fun is finding those finishing touches where you least expect it.

This weekend, I took a trip to my neighborhood Ikea in search of a storage unit. I ended up going another route entirely and picked up this adorable Knubbig flower pink table lamp.

Hand-made of mouth-blown glass, the $8.99 price tag may seem too good to be true – but it is! It’s a perfect find for my apartment and creates perfect mood lighting for my next intimate dinner. (And matches my wine glasses, but that’s info for another post!)

Shopaholics Daily is mostly about beauty products and the latest fashions. But every once in a while, I see something worth mentioning that is out of those areas. Today is one of those times.

Pumpkin Spice Candles

It’s going to be November tomorrow and it has to be the darkest month of the year, so I thought that creating a little ambience for the fireplace mantle might be perfect? What do you think? It’s too early to start decorating for Christmas, but I don’t want to put away the Halloween decorations and leave the mantle bare!! Here are some more possibilities!

Are you fussy about your sheets?

I have to admit that I am fussy. They have to match, they have to look good and they have to smell heavenly. Now my husband is completely different. As long as they are literally on the bed, that’s all he cares about!

Now these appeal to me. (A bit expensive with prices ranging from $125 to $188, but still gorgeous) My husband would think that I was nuts to spend this much on sheets. Where do you stand on the issue. Do you agree with my husband or do you see where I’m coming from??

Sweetheart Candle Sticks

I really shouldn’t be buying more stuff. We still have decided 100% if we are going to put the house up for sale in the spring and the last thing I need is more stuff to pack. But you have to admit, a house can’t have too many candles and these are gorgeous. And I know the perfect spot for them!

And we must have about a zillion tea candles waiting for a home.

Copper Log Bucket

Even if you don’t have a log burning fireplace, this would look awfully cool sitting in your livingroom. Yeah, you can call me quirky, but it just adds a little extra warmth to the room! And I would even go as far as tucking in a few pinecones and cinnamon sticks amongst the logs!

Fresh Towels??

When was the last time you threw out a towel?? Do you even know. I can honestly say that I still have a towel that I received from Pampers and I don’t even want to think about how long ago that was. So, wouldn’t it be nice to completely throw away all of your threadbare towels and start fresh with a set that looks this good??

And yes, I want one set of the red and one set of the black!
