Monday’s What I’m Wanting – An Exercise Pool

Today’s the day I get to pick what I want… for no good reason and today, it’s a pool. And what’s nice about this one is that it can be used indoor or out. Not sure how you bring this indoors, but just think of the exercise that you could get year round. That waistline that I have been working on… should be a snap if you can exercise in water whenever you want to.

*For those of you who can’t swim, this pool is only 39 inches deep which should take the worry out of the practicing process.

Warming the toes… Dearfoam Slippers/Clogs

I picked up a pair of these (mine were camel color) while in Florida. It was too hot to wear them down there, but they certainly are perfect for up here in the cold white north! But a word of warning. Be sure that you try them on and make sure that your heel does not hit the little band in the back. You want your foot to be slightly inside the band. If you don’t, you are going to be walking on it and it doesn’t feel good. Luckily, I noticed before I brought them home. So, be warned.

*But they are amazingly comfortable!

I will be the first to say that I HATE ironing, but spritzing each item with something that smells decadent, just might make me change my mind. I have to admit, it would be nice to pull on a blouse that is lightly scented. Warm vanilla… yes, that’s working for me right now.

Replacing the Christmas Potpourri

Yes, I’m a little behind, but I just got home from Florida and I have a hallway table still sporting Christmas Potpourri. Time to bag it back up and put it away until next Christmas. In it’s place, this particular potpourri would work quite nicely. Not sure why gardenia suddenly appeals to me, but the scent just seems fitting on this cold January day.

The last time I was at a hotel, I used their treadmill, but it wasn’t until I stepped onto their aerobic stepper that I noticed that my heart started pumping the way it was supposed to. While I adore watching TV and walking (yes walking) on the treadmill, it obviously doesn’t give you the workout that a stepper does. And this particular one tells you how many calories you have burned and how many steps you have accomplished. With all of those little black dresses that are in our closet… well, lets just make sure that they fit when we start our rounds of holiday parties!!

Hair Dryer Holder For Those Of Us With Messy Bathrooms

Maybe it’s just me, but my bathroom goes from tidy to a mess in minutes flat. And my blow-dryer is sitting in a box below the counter along with all the attachments that I seldom use anyway. It would be nice to have everything I need right where I need it and this holder looks pretty good right about now. And look… isn’t that a spot for the flat iron as well?? It looks as if there’s a spot for styling products as well. I just picked up a bottle of thermal hair protector yesterday. I know that I have one somewhere, but I seem to have lost it… under the counter somewhere!!

Oh, this is giving me goosebumps just by looking at it. It might have something to do with the fact that my back is aching at the moment. Must have had something to do with how I was sleeping last night?? Not sure, but it’s hurting and I can’t help but fantasize how this might feel?? According to details, those little hands, tap, knead and grab to give you a deep massage. Sounds awfully tempting.
