Much as I’m trying to curb my handbag insanity–my bag tree has run out of spokes–sometimes even the best of attentions are stopped dead in their tracks.

I have to wonder why someone hasn’t thought of this before. You start off the day with a little bag and as the day progresses and your purchases increase, you unzip parts of the bag so that it can hold more. Now that’s my kind of bag! Who says? Just because it hasn’t been marked down, doesn’t mean that you can’t ask! There could be a zillion reasons why the store wants to get rid of it. I saved a ton on a new pair of leather winter boots simply because the sales clerk knew that they would soon be put on sale. She gave me a heads up and even put a pair away for me. Sometimes it’s just soooo easy to save money.
