I’m a little overwhelmed with seasonal shopping…and not just because I’m on the verge of leaving China, where I went to the day after a cruise, and upon my return home, will hightail it to my parents’ house for Thanksgiving. And then two weeks later is my birthday, and then Christmas, and then New Years, and then my best friend’ birthday.

On occasion, we have seen Megan Fox in all kinds of tacky and sleazy outfits in the past. However at the Jennifer’s Body Comic-Con Screening/Party at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Diego earlier this week, she looked absolutely fabulous. With a simple knee-length black dress and matching peeptoe pumps, she looked beautiful and sexy without looking trashy.

The Makeup

The semi-matte color is highly pigmented and long wearing, but not dry like other matte lipsticks. It features a special non-drying formula that keeps your lips moist and luscious. I’m a big fan of NARS lipstick. It goes on smooth and lasts a long time. It’s a big step above drugstore brand lipstick without being overly expensive.

Now you have everything you need to get Megan’s look and you didn’t spend a fortune. Just add a confident strut and you’ll be the center of attention wherever you go!

I particularly love the way it cinches in at the waistline, so those of us who need a little help in that area… this dress will give it to you. And did you notice the half belt?? That’s where the rhinestones come into play. So, now you don’t have to worry about that spray of stones running over one shoulder like in the 80s. And to be quite honest, the use of rhinestones did scare me when I first spotted it in the title.

You do have one right? It has to be about the most versatile item of clothing that you will ever own. You can dress it up or down just with the help of a few accessories. If you haven’t at least one in your closet, I suggest you book yourself some serious retail therapy.

And if you find more than one that you like, that is perfectly okay. That little black dress is coming out with all kinds of interesting necklines. It’s the perfect dress when you haven’t a clue what to wear. It works every time! And yes, half the fun is shopping for accessories!!
