I’m not normally a fan of the shoes that have a thick ankle cuff. They always look too chunky and clunky for my taste. But these Manolo Blahnik patent leather sandals are an exception for me. Still enjoying the December sunshine in Florida and while I’m here, it’s really easy to turn my thoughts to springtime and the shoes that I might want to consider Even my husband commented on them as he went by the kitchen table where I am working at the moment. He thought that they would look cute with a little black skirt. That’s all the enticement I need lol… he just doesn’t know it yet!

Reminds me of a ballet slipper with a heel, don’t you think?? Would look rather amazing at one of this year’s Christmas parties or even better… New Year’s Eve! Is there a pair of shoes by Manolo Blahnik that I don’t like??

Which reminds me, I have to start thinking about what I’m going to wear. Our first Christmas party takes place on November 30. It seems that they get earlier every year. Just out of curiosity, have you picked out your holiday outfits yet??

The Smart Heel

I don’t know about you, but don’t you just hate it when your favorite pair of heels are completely ruined by little gouges on the heel. I don’t know how they get there, but I manage to find all the places to go to ruin a pair. And I hate to mention this, but shoes have been creeping up in price and if I can find a way to hold onto them a little bit longer, I’m going to. Thank heavens for Smart Heel Heel Protectors

And just in case you were wondering… the heel protectors snap off when you don’t need them any more. Just dump them into to your handbag and you are ready to go!

When I first heard how popular yellow was going to be for the summer, I wasn’t sure, but you can see that the yellows all vary in intensity.

Today’s Shoe by Manolo Blahnik

This is from his pre-fall lineup, something I don’t even want to think about… fall that is. I’m still waiting for the temperatures to rise and if we can jump right over spring into summer, I’m good with that. But I do like these shoes!! The first thing I thought of were the old Mary Jane style of shoes and apparently Manolo Blahnik thought so too. They are available at Neiman Marcus for $645.00.

And just in case you want another look from a different angle, I have this pic for you too… Those heels are going to do some amazing things for your legs… not to mention the fact that they are going to make you look soooo tall! I’m loving it!!
