Thursdays at Sephora – What Everyone Is Looking At

It’s time for another stroll through Sephora to see what they have that I/We might want. Thank goodness we have access to Sephora on-line. Makes it so much easier for those of us who haven’t a shop close by. I think that my closest is downtown Toronto. Going to have to do something about that!

At the moment, everyone seems to finally switching from their heavier winter fragrances to a light summer scent. That’s all the reason to go shopping I need. A woman simply can’t have too many fragrances can she?? Here’s today’s pick: Burberry Summer

Wednesday’s Bath Goodies

Is there a room that a woman loves the best in her house? I have asked around and more often than not, she insist that it is there bathroom. It is either a luxurious bathtub or the kind of shower that lets you shave your legs and be done for the day. So, with that in mind, today’s theme is going to be bath goodies. Today’s Project… Lavender Fizz Bath Bombs

I’m hoping that you have some lavender plants in your garden?? This summer, you are going to make your own bath bombs. Ingredients that you will have to buy for this project will be baking soda, food coloring, witch hazel, lime juice and lavender essential oil. The lavender buds, you will have grown yourself. When a birthday arrives with little notice, (meaning you forgot), you can whip up a batch of these bath bombs to wrap up and give away. And yes, you can put away a few for yourself.

What’s Hot Fridays – Jimmy Choo’s Spring Collection

I was just perusing to see what I would buy from the Jimmy Choo Spring Collection if I had unlimited funds. My husband insists that I don’t for some reason , but a girl can dream. Check out this pair. Absolutely delicious!! The chain detailing around the heel and the ankles certainly sets them apart. Definitely nothing boring here. You could wear a sack and you would still turn heads in these heels.

A Big Thumbs Up to A Brand New Razor For Women… Gillette Venus Embrace Razor

What takes up almost more of our time than anything else?? Shaving of course, so when the Gillette company approached me about reviewing their brand new razor, I was of course more than willing. I tried it out just yesterday and here’s where I give it thumbs up.

*it has 5 blades that literally glides over your skin. I had been using three.
*the handle is made of a gel material that allows it to stay in your hand even when wet. I reviewed another brand a few years ago and one thing the company forgot about is what happens when the plastic gets wet… you can’t hold on to it. Not so with this razor. No problem at all in that department.
*it also comes with a “shower pod” that has suction come attachments to keep everything where you need it… in the shower.
*this is the razor that I have been waiting for. It will be super easy to pack it and take it with me for my next vacation! You are going to love it.

Warming the toes… Dearfoam Slippers/Clogs

I picked up a pair of these (mine were camel color) while in Florida. It was too hot to wear them down there, but they certainly are perfect for up here in the cold white north! But a word of warning. Be sure that you try them on and make sure that your heel does not hit the little band in the back. You want your foot to be slightly inside the band. If you don’t, you are going to be walking on it and it doesn’t feel good. Luckily, I noticed before I brought them home. So, be warned.

*But they are amazingly comfortable!

Provence French Linen Water Warm Vanilla Nougatine Spray

I will be the first to say that I HATE ironing, but spritzing each item with something that smells decadent, just might make me change my mind. I have to admit, it would be nice to pull on a blouse that is lightly scented. Warm vanilla… yes, that’s working for me right now.
