Back-To-School Shopping : Stripes & Polos

Wondering what I’ve bought for my son’s Back-To-School? I’m more of a budget kind of shopper so I was able to get a decent amount of new set of clothes. Good thing too coz add them up with his 5th grade supply items, I’d still be crying today after calculating all the expenses. Wheww. Let’s start with the shirts :

Unlike last year where I let him pick a few character shirts, this year is different. He was only allowed to pick 3. Slowly but surely, he needs to grow out of them. He can still have them, but limited. Kinda like video games and TV . Here’s a couple of printed polo shirts I bought last June.

Stripes shirts are $3.50 each. Polo shirts are $5 each. The novelty tees are $3 each.

Polo Shirts, Must-Have For Boys

If there is another staple item I believe my son(all boys) must have in his closet, it’s the Polo shirts. He’s always had them ever since I can remember. I’ve always bought 3 different solid colors. Red, Light Blue and White. Here are a couple pictures of him on the 1st day of 2nd grade…

I’ve always bought his polo shirts at OLD Navy. Or GAP. I’ve bought him striped polo shirts at Steve and Barry’s as part of his Back-To-School shopping. I’ve just bought a couple from ON actually. In light blue and white. So besides adding into another staple item which is the dress shirts, I make sure he’s got enough polo shirts as well. He can have fun with novelty shirts all he wants, but Mommy takes care of the rest, as usual .
