Beau Soleil Raw Cotton Tote from Saks

Our children will be inheriting this world from us and if we want it to be a healthy place,  we will have to start thinking along these lines (reduce, recycle, renew) and I think that the idea is catching on. The bag was on offer at Saks, but is no longer available online. They do provide you with a phone number however so that they can advise you when they think they can offer more.
*A great bag to take along to the supermarket for those little orders.

Wednesday’s Fashion and Beauty Flyer

I found some new sales and promotions for the upcoming season, so I thought that I would let you know.
Bloomingdales: If you love to shop online, you are going to love this one. If you make 2 purchases, the third is half price! Some departments are excluded, but fashion isn’t one of them!
Nordstrom: According to their main page, get your fashion shopping done now because prices are going up August 4th!
Saks: Tons of items reduced… just take your pick!
JCPenney: Bras have been slashed big time. Can’t remember when I saw them featured under $15.00 a piece.
Barneys: Looking for your next …read more

Snow in Seattle… Burberry Quilted Jacket

As pretty this as is, I don’t think that it’s going to be enough to keep those poor souls warm in Seattle. They have snow and in Vancouver, it’s not much better. It’s 34 degrees F today and on Saturday, my Father-in-Law is getting married again. It is supposed to be set in a rose garden, but I’m not sure what to expect. I don’t think roses like those temps and it is the end of April. I guess we can only hope that those temps don’t venture east. Winter was bad enough, I’m ready for sunshine and warm temperatures. …read more

Jimmy Choo Latch T-Strap Sandals

Sandals are going upscale from what I remember of my twenty something days. This particular pair features a 4 inch heel, has leather lining and a suede sole. Made in Italy btw. So, are you up for a 4 inch heel? Have you noticed that they are getting higher and higher. Recently I spotted a pair of five inch heel, so I have to wonder, will they ever reach six?? Or have they already?
Not sure that I like the gold around the ankle. What do you think?

Burberry Infant’s Cotton Shift Dress

I always wished that the schools here went with the idea of uniforms. I positively fell in love with the little British school uniforms and even picked up a few little dresses for Britt when she was little. Not that she was impressed. By the time she was 5, all she wanted to wear were blue jeans, a tee shirt and a blue jean jacket. But when she was really little, I could dress her in what I loved and this would have been it. Comes in sizes from 3 months to nine months, which means that they are going …read more

Anna Sui -Sateen Pencil Skirt

*Contrast-stitched with a flirty, flouncy hem, this stretch cotton style assures all eyes are on you. What do you think?? Do you like Anna Sui’s variation to the “pencil skirt“? Personally, the length is all wrong for me. It would make me look even shorter than my 5′41/2 inches. Yes, I’m coming clean. I used to always lie and say that I was 5′5 inches tall.
Available at Saks for $257.00.
