For the last few years the holiday season has all been about red lips, but some of us are just a wee bit scared of the intensity. So what to do??

I don’t know where I heard this, but it seemed to be pretty good advice and I have been using it ever since. With a lip brush, I apply a little just to the middle of both upper lip and lower lip and then spread it using a lip gloss. Most lip glosses have a wand that you can use which makes it big time easy, but be sure that you wipe all of the red off or you will probably have red lips for the next few applications… which might not be a bad thing, now that I think about it!

*Just in case you are wondering, the red is suddenly not so intense. And I love the tube… looks really Christmasy to me.

Can’t quite decide whether I like the look of this mascara or not, but if it can take my lashes and do something with them, I won’t be able to praise it enough. Here’s what it promises to do…

Thursdays at Sephora – What Everyone Is Looking At

It’s time for another stroll through Sephora to see what they have that I/We might want. I don’t know what it is about this particular store that reduces me to mush, but if any store can do it, it’s Sephora. Here’s what’s going on my MUST HAVE list! Looks as if I’m in a “girly” mood today!

Pink Sugar Getaway Set ($75 Value) and there is just a little bit of time left before September to do just that! And who can resist the scent? I know that I can’t. Reminds me of cotton candy.

L de Lolita Lempicka. I just had to give you the blown up size of this bottle because it’s so gorgeous. Can you tell what the designer is going for? The bottle is the ocean, while the gold chains and stopper is the mermaid. Now how cool is that?? And I like this part… The scent itself is a passionate combination of everlasting flower, bitter orange, cinnamon, vanilla and precious woods.”

Fresh Sugar… a simple bottle but the yummiest of scents.

Thursdays at Sephora – Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Eye Mask

It’s time for another stroll through Sephora to see what they have that I/We might want. I don’t know what it is about this particular store that reduces me to mush, but if any store can do it, it’s Sephora. I have even looked into the idea of owning my own franchise. Unfortunately, it’s not a franchise so I’m pretty much out of luck… which might be a good thing now that I think about it. I would just have to own one of everything and that doesn’t leave a lot of room for profit… but oh, what fun it would be!

And today’s this is my pick. It just might have something to do with the fact that I didn’t sleep last night and you can tell by just one look. From what I have been reading, it sounds as if 15 minutes with Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Eye Mask just might lull me to sleep. It looks so refreshing and as I type this, I’m having a hard time keeping my eyes open. Now why couldn’t I feel like this at 2 a.m. this morning?? Anyway, this is my heads up for you. If anyone has tried it, I would sure love for you to leave me a comment. I just love personal reviews. Sometimes items that look good are AWESOME and then sometimes they don’t quite live up to expectation.

Thursdays at Sephora – What Everyone Is Looking At

It’s time for another stroll through Sephora to see what they have that I/We might want. It seems that I’m one of those women who can go into the store simply to brouse and come out with $200.00 worth of goodies! Can’t help it. There is just so many cool things in there. And have you ever seen those displays with the tiny crystal spheres that they use to display brushes… well, I want those too. I really must ask one of the salesclerks in there if they sell those too. They would look so cool in my bathroom. Well, enough of my “goings on”. Lets see what Sephora has to offer this week.

Now this looks like it has possibilities. At this time of year, heaven knows that we need all those attachments. All I can say is that next time… I’m coming back as a man! It’s called Bikini Perfect Deluxe – Spa Edition

It’s called the Miami Sun Set and while you might think that the colors are a bit strong, you just might be surprised. That warm gold color I tried (different brand but similar color) and it did some amazing things for brown eyes. I couldn’t believe it. It had the strongest orange hue to it and it turned out to be one of my favorite colors. It simply melted into my skin tones and looked amazing. I have a feeling that this is going to do the same. And I’m loving that tangerine for the lips. I think that I’m a goner with this collection.

I admit… I like the bottle, but a lot has to be said for the scent as well. Think sweet ‘creamy coconut and floral notes mixed with citrus to enchant and faint earthy hints of patchouli and a sensual musky scent”. Sounds like summer to me! It’s called… Unforgivable Woman Black
