Consumers and Virtual shopping… it’s all about online shopping.The aim is to make it as convenient as possible and to save you time.  You have to admit, it makes shopping around for the best prices a whole lot easier and there is no sore feet at the end of the day!! But it is still wise to choose stores that you are familiar with and be sure that you understand the return policy is. Just think that in your Mother’s time, this would have been unheard of.

Internet Shopping Scams…  Consumer Protection Commissions are beginning to pop up everywhere. This particular article describes what they are looking for in Australia. So what is triggering the red flags?? Guarantees that seem just too good to be true! We need to be aware of that as well! If it sounds too good to be true… it probably is!

Men Shop as Well so… the latest fashions are sporting lots of pockets for men so that they don’t have to carry “murses” or man purses.  Lets face it, there are a lot of men who simply don’t feel comfortable carrying a bag… convenient or not, so if they can incorporate more pockets into affordable pants and jackets (which they are trying to do), we have a winner. Knowing this should make shopping for our sons a whole lot easier with the holiday season fast approaching. My husband just doesn’t carry anything more than he has to anyway.  He hands it to me!

This particular tee is made of organic cotton and has been marked from $62.00 to $39.90. I think I could live with that price. I particularly like the idea that the cotton is organic. I remember reading a few years that the cotton crop was the most heavily sprayed with pesticides of all the crops. I can’t remember what else they said, but that part stuck in my mind.

Where I live, it certainly doesn’t feel like it, but the stores are thinking differently! So, if you are just a wee bit curious to see the latest in spring fashion, head off to any of the big department stores, but the first that I happened upon was JCPenney and be sure to check out the sales that are taking place January 17 – 19th! They want to get rid of any winter stuff so that they can make way for all the spring fashions. You might as well take full advantage.

And the second they spot a knock off, they become the “borrower’s” worst nightmare. And rightly so. I can’t imagine how much work it takes to get to the top of the fashion world and I know that I would be more than a little ticked off if I managed to get there and someone decided to ride on my coat-tails. I sort of feel that way when someone steals one of my articles and passes it off as their own. Doesn’t compare I know… but you get my point.

I don’t know about you, but I have been thinking about all of the Christmas shopping that I have ahead of me, and it’s really hard the minute the temperatures begin to climb. Our next door neighbor was even in the pool this afternoon. I don’t think that she was thinking about Christmas today either.

And if Target is getting ready for Christmas, that means all of the other stores are pretty likely doing the same. And there is nothing quite like your favorite store bursting at the seams with all kinds of new goodies just waiting for us to fill our holiday lists.
