Though we are getting set to head into winter, it’s fun to look at some of the hot trends for Spring/Summer 2010. One thing that is obvious when you view the resort collections is that it’s all about color. Today let’s look at some gorgeous apparel in bold, colorful prints.
Blumarine Floral Print Dress ($1,830)
Definitely too pricey for my pocketbook, the pretty floral print dress is just adorable. It features a scooped neckline, snap belt and straight skirt. Get this dress (and the other items below) at NeimanMarcus.com.

When it comes to Tory Burch’s fashions, I normally stick to her handbags and ballet flats — not venturing too far into the other apparel. But Tory Burch has created some adorable skirts and dresses that shouldn’t be missed. My latest favorite is this pleated skirt.
The Haylie skirt features a banded waist and ivory patterned fabric. This feminine skirt is perfect for those romantic looks that are trendy right now. Couple it with a halter blouse or body-hugging sweater and Mary Jane pumps.
Originally priced at $395, this pretty pleated skirt is on sale now at Neiman Marcus for $197. Sizes …read more

Colorblocking, floral prints, geometric patterns — I adore all the options in skirts this spring. Earlier today, I was shopping at Net-a-porter, so I thought I’d share three print skirts that I love from the site.
If you are going to splurge on one of these designer skirts, just make sure you have enough tops and sweaters to go with it. When you spend this much money, the skirt should be a versatile piece in your wardrobe.

Like the look of the short skirts, but like the comfort feature of shorts?? Then this is your answer… the best of both. And just think of how much mileage you can get out of this skirt. You can pretty much wear any color or print with this neutral color. And you can dress it up or down… your choice.
