]]> _rosebud-salve.jpgIf you use a credit card for your purchases, be sure that it rewards you with travel miles, or points that you can use in another way. I, for example, have one card that is accepted everywhere, offering 1 point for every dollar. The points can then be traded in for free groceries. Okay, I usually pick up a lot of “free” cosmetics and magazines this way… as well as groceriesl! Works for me!

My husband has a card that has rewarded us with tickets to a lot of rock concerts, not to mention allowing me to tag along on business trips. I do that a lot! ;)

So, be sure to make your credit cards work for you!! You can get a lot of bang for your buck!

]]> Smith's Rosebud Salve - OriginalThen you are going to love this… well most of it anyway. I will explain my reservations in a couple of minutes. But, I have to say, that this has to be the best lip balm I have ever used.
It comes in a tiny little canister that can easily be tossed into your handbag or on do as I do and keep it handy on the dresser. I use it every night before climbing into bed.

Pros

-You get a lot for your money. This little canister costs only $5.00 and you will likely toss it before you run out.
- The lip balm is incredibly silky. With the winter we have had, my lips haven’t found the need to complain and that is saying something!

Cons

-The taste gets a little getting used to, but I really don’t mind it at all anymore. So, is this a pro or a con??
-You have to put your fingers into the container. This is the part I hate. I wish it could be packaged in a tube so that you couldn’t actually touch the product. Bacteria… yuk!

*And just in case you don’t care for the flavor of roses… apparently it’s being formulated with a strawberry flavor as well!
