I don’t know about you, but after sitting on a plane for more than a few hours, I pretty much have lost all of my color. That’s why when I noticed this section at Sephora, I clicked right over to it. Each of the items are small enough that they will fit into a sandwich bag and then right into your handbag. Need a touch-up before you arrive… not a problem anymore.
Check out what Sephora has for you. I think that you are going to like it.

“Straddling the line between preying on a parent’s worst fears and making sense in a weird sort of way is My Child’s Pack, an allegedly bulletproof backpack that will run you $175 plus shipping. In the years following the Columbine and Virginia Tech school shootings, not to mention the domestic violence in Essex last year that ended with teachers shot and killed, it’s hard not to look at this item and think that maybe it’s a move in the right direction. It’s also hard not to feel that things like My Child’s Pack are …read more

Mr. Freeze Portable Auto Ice Maker – MIM15

It might work just fine in the car, but what about in your office? You would have ice sitting on the corner of your desk at all times! Just think of all of those glasses of ice tea you could enjoy all summer long… or those days when the heat is just too hot to bear, you could pick up an ice cube and cool down your brow.

“The plastics industry supports the voluntary goal
of reducing plastic shopping bags in Ontario as announced today by the
province’s Environment Minister.
“Manufacturers have been working with retailers, municipalities, and
other partners for many years to promote the wise use of plastic shopping
bags, and we welcome this initiative because it will help accelerate our
efforts,” said Serge Lavoie, President and CEO of the Canadian Plastics
Industry Association (CPIA).”
I was just reading about this in the paper this morning. What I’m beginning to wander about is all the free advertising that stores receive as we wonder around the malls carrying THEIR plastic bags. How will the …read more

“IMPULSE shoppers, watch out. Your cellphone might soon get you into trouble.
A company called ShopText has introduced a system that lets people buy products instantly using text messages, a process that eliminates the need to go to a store or even visit a Web site. For instance, a woman seeing an ad for a pocketbook in a magazine can order it on the spot simply by sending the text code found beside the item through her cellphone.”
Some shopaholics out there are going to love this and some of you are going to say that it …read more

Continuing with the pirate theme, I found something I certainly wasn’t expecting. You can actually have your own pirate ship. Now how cool is that??
Okay, it’s not a real pirate ship, but from the street, and particularly at night under a full moon, it will certainly look as if you have a pirate ship sailing in your backyard! You will have people wondering if your backyard is haunted! Perfect for Halloween I would be thinking. I know that Britt for one would love something like this. Okay she would want the real thing, but lets go one step …read more
