Don’t let the lack of smile fool you. She’s just having one of those Terrible Two’s moments . She’s wearing the pink stripes jumper dress I got from Walmart clearance and Disney Princesses rubber sole Mary Jane from Sears. Her hair is nicely brushed after a bath.

She uses Suave orange mango smoothers shampoo. While one Mom gives it a negative review, it does work on my daughter’s hair. I found using a little bit more helps with untangling the hair after bath. Every product results varies from different customers.

Aveeno Baby Moisture Cream Works For My Son’s Allergy Too

Spring means allergies to most of us. In my son’s case, he gets really bad skin allergy. His face gets dry to the point of scaly dry. There are a lot of prescribed ointments and over-the-counter stuff out there but most of the time they’re harsh. My son got my sensitive skin. We both prefer mild and light moisturizers. I remember that my daughter still have something left of her Aveeno Soothing Relief Moisture Cream. What could be more mild and light than a dry skin cream for babies, right?

It has been 3 weeks since he started using it and his face has cleared up. And I could tell right away when he’s forgotten to apply some on his face coz the dryness comes back. As long as he does it everyday using a good amount of the Aveeno cream I think his face will stay fresh and smooth.

I got a .50 cent coupon for Suave Kids 2 in 1 Smoothers Shampoo so I thought, hey why not. It has been a week and I like the result on my daughter’s hair.

Style Tots Top 5 Baby Moisturizers

I’m addicted to moisturizers. So it’s not surprising that my kids are too. My son has his own set of moisturizer which he needs to be reminded to put on everyday. I’ll talk about his brand some other time. Right now, here are the top 5 baby moisturizers that I’ve used and still using for the baby girl. Of course they’re not all applied at the same time..LOL. I just happened to have a supply of all of them just to make sure I have options and sometimes stores don’t have some of ‘em in stock so I try to use different ones. But these are the 5 baby moisturizers that I tend to lean on more often.

Johnson’s Baby Lotion. The classic choice for ever baby and kids. I even have a small bottle of this in my purse that I let my son use when he forgets to put lotion on his face and we’re already out of the house.

Aveeno Baby Calming Comfort Lotion. This became a favorite last year after finding out that it somehow helped with the baby girl’s allergic reaction to carrots.

Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Buttermilk Lotion. A new discovery which is becoming a favorite. It’s very soothing which I can attest to since I find myself applying in my hands as well .

Gerber Grins & Giggles Baby Lotion. Besides the Johnson’s Baby Lotion, this was the alternative lotion I used with my baby when she was born. As well all know, babies have very sensitive skin after delivery. This very gentle and mild to baby’s skin.

Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. This is a must have in every household in my opinion. It’s good for everybody. Babies, kids and adults. I sometimes use this for diaper rash. It works like magic.
