We all know the importance of sunscreen to help prevent skin cancer (and wrinkles!). But on top of sunscreen, it never hurts to add another layer of sun protection in the form of fashion. Check out these ways to stay fashion forward while also protecting yourself from the sun’s harmful rays.

Catherine Malandrino Draped Jumpsuit

Though I’m not a big fan of the romper/jumpsuit trend, this one from Catherine Malandrino really caught my eye. The color is absolutely gorgeous and the draped styling make it so much more “grown up” than the other rompers I’ve seen lately.
The pleated shorts are accented with tonal satin cuffs and a matching tie-belt accents the waist. This jumpsuit is perfect for a summer party. Put on a pair of summer sandals, a stack of bangle bracelets and you are out the door.
If you love this silk jumpsuit too, you can find it right now at Neiman Marcus. Priced at …read more

White dresses are perfect for summertime. They are cool, crisp and clean. I saw this look the other day at Cusp and I just adore it. This white strapless dress is from LaRok. It features allover gathering and an empire waist. It’s so light, airy and feminine.
With dress like this, add a little color to your look with the accessories. The beaded Adia Kibur necklace is a nice choice. It uses taupe ribbon instead of a chain. The mixed beads are various shapes, sizes and colors to give this piece a lot of texture. This necklace is priced at $115 at …read more

It looks as if bows are big time popular this season and I know that the bow on this dress is the focal point, but I’m just not a hundred % sure that it’s working. That’s where you come in. Tell me what you think. I do love the black and white combination. Looks very fresh and crisp. Just can’t decide about the bow. Come and put me out of my misery.

I love the color of these Billy Blue Roll Cuff Shorts, especially when it is paired up with a simple white t-shirt. Add a pretty pair of sandals and you are ready to turn heads. The shorts are also available in white, cobalt, black or this color… guava! Thumbs up or down? I’m curious to see if people like the bow in the front??

Yellows seem to be popping up everywhere this season. I have chosen 5 for you to vote on. Or maybe you hate yellow all together. You can mention that fact as well in the comments section! And did you notice that the yellows are coming in different intensities? That will obviously play into your choices as well.

Burberry Infant’s Cotton Shift Dress
I always wished that the schools here went with the idea of uniforms. I positively fell in love with the little British school uniforms and even picked up a few little dresses for Britt when she was little. Not that she was impressed. By the time she was 5, all she wanted to wear were blue jeans, a tee shirt and a blue jean jacket. But when she was really little, I could dress her in what I loved and this would have been it. Comes in sizes from 3 months to nine months, which means that they are going …read more
