So, how did you do? Maybe you are one hot little number in the hair department, but if you’re not, the holidays are the perfect time to treat yourself to a new look. Give it a try and watch your spirits soar!

Okay, so I can’t possibly be the only one who turns the 6-week rule of hair trimming into 8 to 10 weeks or more, can I? Of course not.
So what to do when your hair is screaming for moisture, but there’s no time to get to the stylist? Try Neutrogena’s Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask.
First impressions of this mask were great. I love the smell, which is far lighter than a lot of other masks.

For some reason, hair product companies seem to think that the more concentrated the mask, the stronger the smell should be. Um, no thanks. I like the light, but pretty, smell of Neutrogena’s Mask, thank you very much.

I also like that the mask is not so slippery that I almost wipe out in the shower. Ever had that happen? You put a deep conditioner in your hair and almost break a limb getting around in the shower or tub. Who knew conditioning your hair could become a health hazard? Sheesh.

Okay, so what else is so great about this stuff? Well, it works! Without completely weighing down your hair or turning it into an oil slick. A product that works and works well is always appreciated in my book.

Here’s what makes it work so well:

Three naturally derived extracts penetrate to help moisturize each layer of the hair strand, including:

Olive, which penetrates to the center

Meadowfoam Seed, which helps moisturize the middle

Sweet Almond, which wraps the surface

This glorious combination is assembled together in a lovely peachy-colored mask which is meant to be used weekly to restore extra dry or over-processed hair (yes, mine surely qualifies. How about you? ;0 ) The product promises to deliver intensive moisture that will rescue even the most dehydrated strands (hello, winter hair!).

All in all, I would say this product definitely lives up to its promise and I highly recommend it to you. And at around $6.99, it’s a great drugstore purchase, for sure!

Enjoy that beautiful hair and let me know what you think if you try it!

You spend your money on great conditioners and hair care products you trust will make your tresses gleam with health. But are you using them properly???
When shampooing your hair, it’s best to pour the liquid into your hands, then apply to the scalp area first, allowing the bubbles to cleanse the ends of your hair as you rinse. This way, the detergents in the shampoo go where you want them: to the oiliest areas of your hair. This also spares your ends from getting too much of those detergents, which could make already-fragile ends even more [...]
Post from: Shopaholics Daily

You spend your money on great conditioners and hair care products you trust will make your tresses gleam with health. But are you using them properly???

When shampooing your hair, it’s best to pour the liquid into your hands, then apply to the scalp area first, allowing the bubbles to cleanse the ends of your hair as you rinse. This way, the detergents in the shampoo go where you want them: to the oiliest areas of your hair. This also spares your ends from getting too much of those detergents, which could make already-fragile ends even more susceptible to breakage.

When conditioning, the opposite is true. Apply product to the ends of your hair first (where hair is older and needs the most moisture) and work your way up only to about the middle of your head. There’s no need to condition up near the scalp (unless you’re applying a deep conditioner directly after a home-coloring). Too much moisture up near the scalp can weigh hair down and/or make it oily. Concentrate your efforts on the ends to get the most benefit.

And of course, don’t forget regular trims.

Hope this helps makes your tresses even more gorgeous. Have a great weekend!
