Thursdays at Sephora – What Everyone Is Looking At

I love Sephora but I have to admit that walking into the store is a bit overwhelming, so I decided to do a weekly feature about what shoppers are checking out. Here’s what’s hot today!
The Clarisonic Skincare Brush
Okay, just for a moment think about what a cleanser and a facecloth can do to rid your face of dust, oil and makeup. You might think that it’s doing the job, but for a moment just consider this brush. It uses a gentle back and forth movement with bristles that move more than 300 times A SECOND. Certainly can’t do that with a facecloth. It also claims to remove 6x the makeup that is still sitting on your skin after cleansing. Now that is a scary thought.
*Set includes: A Clarisonic brush and charger, one sensitive brush head, and a 2 oz Daily Cleanser.
Now I have one concern…
When are they going to upgrade the product? This happened to me with the Sonicare® toothbrush which is made by the same company. Suddenly the heads could not be found and if I had wanted to continue with their product, I would have had to buy a brand new charger and re-designed toothbrush head.
So, while I am impressed with the fact that it probably can do a much better job of cleaning out my pores and I do have ULTRA OILY skin, I’m a little dubious about spending the $195.00 for the starter kit.

What Sonicare toothbrush do you have? I got mine three years ago and there are multiple heads still available that are sold in the grocery store. I have the 7000 series.
I can’t remember the number for the life of me, but I couldn’t have had it any longer than a couple of years before a new version was brought out and the old heads disappeared from the shelves. Gook luck with yours and you just might want to stock up if you ever find them on sale.
