However, I just got the most awesome new toy EVER. And it’s a Barbie!
Behold the 50th anniversary Barbie Glamour Doll – featuring a modern rendition of the fashions featured on the original 1959 doll, in a beautiful glamour look designed by Richard Best.
This doll was in the gift bags at the Barbie Fashion Week event this year, and now lives on my mantle. A close friend even said she looks just like me…if I had been a Barbie. That was very exciting to hear!
Whether or not it actually LOOKS like me, it is already one of my favorite possessions – they are totally a collector’s item, though – so try to get your hands on one while you can. They are out there!
