To be honest, I still remember those days. We got bits and pieces through the year, but you got loads of new clothes in August just before the start of a new year.
Hmmm, I never thought about that before lol… Were my parents being overly generous or just happy that school was starting again? Whatever the reason, I loved every minute of it.
