One hot mama

I have loved Alyson Hannigan since the days that she played Buffy’s cute and quirky best friend.
Now, the very pregnant How I Met Your Mother starlet was spotted running errands around Los Angeles in the Laurel Canyon Maternity Jean by Paige Premium Denim.
This boot cut jean is shown in the popular McKinley wash and has a soft lycra belly panel for all over comfort and wearability. Alyson loves to wear her Paige maternity both on and off the set. She has also been spotted out in her other Paige Maternity jean, the Laurel Canyon in the Lagoon wash.

MY Project Runway!

I believe just about all of us shopaholics have a fascination with Project Runway. So, imagine my excitement when I went to a media breakfast sponsored by Secret Deordorant – and discovered the special guest host was Korto, one of my favorite contestants from last season!
I can’t get into the contents of the event – it’s super exciting info that’s under embargo till spring – but I can tell you about the fun part! Korto led all of us in creating our very own t-shirts/tanks using random beads and feathers. (It was very much like the show!) Then, at the …read more

Keep an eye on Tom Daschle

Keep an eye on Tom Daschle

Known for its vibrant use of color to tweak classic shapes, Lafont’s titanium frames are not only lightweight, but sturdy, too.
Here, Tom Daschle sports the Providence style in a sophisticated shade of red.
Who says that politicians have to toe the party line?
If eyeglasses reveal something about the person who wears them, Mr. Daschle is cut from a different cloth. Change we can believe in, indeed!

Yes, that really is Hugh Jackman under all of those layers. He’s in England promoting his latest film “Australia”. All I can say is that if he finds England cold, he had better stay away from Canada… just a wee bit nippy here in Toronto today!

Quantum of Solice… Up Close and Personal

Quantum of Solice… Up Close and Personal

If you are lucky enough to be visiting London, England from now until January 2009, you are in for a treat. Herrods is featuring all kinds of goodies from the movie including Sunseeker speedboat (exhibited until 22nd November 2008) and Aston Martin DBS ( which my husband would be drooling over). And then there is the “Tom Ford suit and black Prada dress worn by Daniel Craig and Olga Kurylenko, modelled as part of a unique window display. A limited number of replica versions of these garments are on sale exclusively at Harrods.
Hmmm, I always wanted to spend Christmas in England. …read more

Celebrity Fragrances – BARYSHNIKOV SPORT

You have probably heard of most of the celebrity scents on the market and as Christmas edges a little closer each week, I’m sure that you are going to see more and more trying to claim your attention. Sorry, but I have to admit, I’m kind of reluctant to pay much attention simply because a scent comes with a celebrity name attached, but being a long time fan of ballet,  I did stop to read what Baryshnikov Sport was all about and quite frankly, I liked what I read.
First of all, this scent is for the sophisticated man… I’m liking …read more
