Kim Basinger was photographed walking through LAX and she was having a really bad hair day. You see that hat in her hand? She should put it on her head!

She is sporting the part straight, part wavy look and it’s not working. That frizzy look is never a good thing. I can completely relate to this look because if I let my hair air dry and did nothing with it, I would have the Kim Basinger style going on. So, you either break out the flat iron, the curling iron, the pony tail or the hat.

The sixth way you can wear a corset is the classic way, under a suit jacket. This is one of my favorite ways out of all ten. Adding a touch of sexy to a gray suit like the one pictured below, can take it from drab to fab in a split second!

Wear this corset under a suit for a day at the office and then swap the suit for a pair of jeans for a night out. One corset can be worn so many different ways!

Does Melanie Griffith’s outfit look weird to you or is it just me?! She mixes a totally glamorous leopard print coat with sneakers. Now I completely understand needing to wear sneakers in the snow, but I don’t understand why she wore THAT coat with THOSE shoes!

Melanie was enjoying a smoke and some shopping time with her daughter Stella. At least she looks happy! I have seen some pictures of Griffith lately that were not flattering in the slightest. In fact, they made me shiver a little.

Amy Adams looks so classy as she is leaving Barney’s New York in Los Angeles yesterday (December 29). Everything about this outfit is spot on.

Let’s start with her shirt. I love the wrap style and how she holds it together with a black belt. The print on the shirt is gorgeous. Her jeans are a great color, style and length. It looks like they go just to the top of the heel.

She accessorized her ensemble with a stunning pair of Hollywood glasses and beautiful black bag. A black bag that I would die for!! This is an outfit that I would definitely wear just about anywhere – shopping, out to a casual dinner or a night at the movies.

Speaking of movies, in Amy’s most recent film, Doubt, she plays a nun, Sister James. I’ve seen the previews for this flick and it looks like quite the drama! The movie hits theaters on January 8, 2009.

Drew Barrymore was leaving Kinara Spa on Christmas Eve and it appears she is trying out the rocker look. I don’t think I have seen this look on Drew before and I must say…I don’t like it! Drew is such a gorgeous girl and this look is all wrong on her.

When I first saw this picture, I had no idea who it was. I would have never recognized her if I passed her on the street. She could have made this outfit better by losing the plaid shirt and those ugly black pants. Okay, maybe she just needs to start from scratch and lose everything.

Come on Drew! You can do better than this girl.

I have never been fond of the blue jean shorts and stockings look. It just looks weird and tacky to me, but it sure is a hot celebrity look.

Take a look at Katie Holmes as she is leaving her New York apartment today (December 28). Katie was headed to her matinee performance of “All My Sons”. Luckily she didn’t wear this ensemble in the play.

Katie was also seen in a pair of fingerless gloves yesterday. Now that is a look that I like! I just think it’s cute and adds a nice touch to an outfit. Not everyone can pull it off, but it definitely works for Katie Holmes.

I wanted to say Happy Holidays from Snarkstress! I was able to hang out with the big man himself, Santa Claus, the other day at a fashion show in a nightclub. He was one cool guy and quite fashionable. He even strutted his stuff on the catwalk. I was SO impressed!

FYI – There won’t be any more posts today or tomorrow because I am taking a little break. I hope you all have a fantastic time with your families. See you in a couple of days!

Mariah Carey is in Aspen, Colorado looking as fashionable as ever. She was seen leaving the Gucci store wearing some awesome bright red Dior snow boots and a matching red jacket. Notice how there is snow on the ground, which means it’s cold, yet she still has her jacket zipped down to show off some cleavage! I don’t know about you, but I would be keeping my girls warm with a turtle neck or at least zip up my darn jacket. Musicians are so funny.

When I saw this picture, I just couldn’t stop staring at those boots! There’s something about them that makes me want a pair. I live in Colorado and there is snow on the ground right now, so I could totally use these. I could be spotted from miles away, that’s for sure!

Well, this is definitely one of the most colorful ensembles I have seen Jessica Alba in before! She’s got the purple hat, pink scarf and heart Wellington boot look going on. Not an outfit I would choose to be caught dead in, but she sure looks cute, kind of homely, but cute.

I’m not a huge fan of Wellington boots, unless you live in London or Seattle where it rains a lot and then hey, why not choose a stylish pair like the ones Jessica is wearing.

Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren had a pre-Christmas dinner with friends at the Frida restaurant in Beverly Hills. From what I have heard, it has been unusually chilly there in Los Angeles and they both had to bundle up. Maybe she was getting ready in case of any sudden downpours.
