Celebrities and Their Scarves

Scarves are all the rage this winter with celebrities. They are everywhere! On men, women, little kids and possibly pets. Seriously, I am waiting for Paris Hilton to walk out with her little scarf wearing pooch. That would be pretty cute.

Since I am a BIG fan of scarves and I have been seeing them on celebs like crazy, I thought it would be fun to show you some pictures of how celebrities are wearing their scarves. You can see what styles, colors and fabric they are going for. The picture above is of Isla Fisher at the LAX airport. She’s wearing a deep purple and black scarf, with a little fringe on the ends. It looks great with her purple sweater.

Speaking of scarves, did anyone watch the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last night? One of the models was wearing the biggest scarf I have ever seen. They had to help her walk down the stairs. She had two people holding the scarf up so she wouldn’t trip. The thing must have weighed as much as a small child! Here’s a picture of it. Just as a side note: I wouldn’t recommend wearing a scarf this big. It could get tricky.

Katie Holmes quite often wears a scarf. She has a great collection that I would love to get my hands on! In the picture below, Katie is wearing a beautiful white scarf that would go well with any outfit. I can’t exactly tell what the fabric is, but it looks like it could possibly be cashmere.

Adrian Grenier was out last night headed to the Crown bar and he was sporting a brown and gray scarf. Men wearing scarves is HOT! I love a man in a scarf. I like how he has his so casually thrown around his neck, like it’s no big deal. He’s looking classy!

Emma Watson paired a black scarf with a brown leather jacket as she walked through LAX. The scarf she is wearing is very thin and probably perfect for the Los Angeles winter weather.

Brad Pitt is another male celebrity that can be seen often in a scarf. I’ve even seen him with one on the red carpet and it worked. Oh, did it work! Brad was doing an interview for his non-profit organization ‘Make It Right’ and he wore a gray scarf and cardigan. On anyone else I would say this is a Mister Rogers look, but not on him. Nope. He looks great.

Those were just a few examples of the celebrities I have seen wearing scarves. They really can add something to your wardrobe and keep you toasty warm at the same time. You do not have to spend a lot of money on a scarf to get a good one. This is an item of clothing that you can skimp on a little and still get a good looking piece.

My Snarkstress challenge for you today, is to get yourself a scarf and see what outfits you could wear it with. Grab a few in different colors. You will be amazed at how one little scarf can make you look. It can top off the perfect outfit quite nicely!
