I have these exact boots!! But sad to say I bought them in A/W 2006 and they were from a Dior Outlet store so I think they may even have been a year old at that point so you may struggle to locate a brand new pair.

I have to say though, I get these out EVERY snowfall – they are so grippy and get fab comments everywhere I go in them – bliss!

Worth hunting for them!

I think it’s pretty bloody sad that the skinhead style is being used by clueless fashionistas and hipsters. It was bad enough that a movement based on English working class mods and Jamaican music culture was ripped off by right wing groups such as the National Front and their ilk, but to see it being used by those who don’t even have a clues to it true origins let alone the political and media perversions is just a sign of mass ignorance and sheepish behavior from those who get their looks from TV and fashion magazines.

Boots and Braces(suspenders) are part of a subculture, that what makes them cool. But once it goes maintstream and is being used by those who don’t have a single clue in how to wear it properly, it then ceases to be cool. This is what fashion designers always fail to understand. Just because it looks great on the streets doesn’t mean it’ll translate well to the catwalks.

I like the outfit a lot and the two things I like most about Miley are her relatability and the fact that she doesn’t conform to society’s restrictive standards of “googd little girl’. SHe’s not mega conservative or half-naked. She’s balanced, and she’s becoming a woman. she’s not a little kid anymore.
