Evan Rachel Wood Dresses Her Age

Usually, Evan Rachel Wood annoys me to no end with her old Hollywood hairstyles and vintage dresses. But this is a nice surprise from her at the opening of the NYC Swarovski Crystallized Concept Store in New York City.
The red hair is messy and interesting. The eyes smokey and youthful. She looks like a hot twenty something actress who has that extra spark to be something more than b-list talent. The shoulders are sleek and modern (very unlike her) and the pants skinny and tailored.
I might have suggested a different shirt – one that was tucked in and maybe a more subdued fabric and color – but she’s carrying it off like she hasn’t been walking around red carpet events looking like a self entitled snob all these months.
This is a whole new Evan Rachel, right here. Bravo, honey.
