Heidi Cornell’s Furry Fashion Faux Pas

If you are a fashion designer, I suppose you are under a tremendous amount of stress to break new ground and set trends among the rich and famous. It’s not enough to just look good; being fabulous is a full time job.
However…Heidi Cornell’s Young Fabulous and Broke need not stand for “which means I had to go stand on street corners to make a few bucks”…if only the designer herself would stop stepping out looking like a wooly coated hooker.
As if the farm animal draped across her shoulders weren’t enough, Heidi has covered her legs in sparkly tights that might only be appropriate on a five year old dressed up as Cinderella for her birthday.
This is not breaking ground. This is digging a very large, very deep, unfashionable hole.

Oh my gosh. I just saw The Wrestler last night and Mickey Rourke wears a vest *exactly* like this one at the end of the film. That is too weird. Was she trying to pay homage?
Snarktress, I have known H,for 20 plus years. Today an old friend and I were joking about Heidi, I googled her. H and I were models together and worked together for many years. But your comment was so off base. Did you know that H was in a horrible car accident 15 years ago and her leg was torn off. It was saved by one vein. H has a few scars that she is a little self conscious about. So if the girl has leggins on FIGURE IT OUT. YOU OWE HER AN APOLOGY. As for Style,H has always set the rules. She follows no one. I used to laugh my ass off on many of her outfits. But H has a sense of style. So laugh if you will but who are you?> And have the balls to apologize for the legging thing. And looking at your photo I know you have balls.

I love it, and I think it is totally appropriate for Vegas. She looks HOT. I had the opportunity to meet her in NY at Fashions Night Out, and she is GORGOUS! Mater of Fact, I bought almost every piece in her line that was available at Saks. Even the furry Vest that you hate, in both colors, cream and black.. She is California Chic, and has a great scence of style. As for the gold digger comment, she has her own money…look how many stores carry her line. I wish her the best, he is creative and classy.
