How to Wear a Corset: #1 For Fun

Today is the start of my How to Wear a Corset Series. I’ll be posting 10 ways throughout the week and by the end of the week (or before) you’ll want a corset of your own!
The first way to wear a corset is for fun! Yes, fun! You can wear a corset with a pair of jeans for a night of clubbing, out to dinner or a casual holiday party. Pair a gorgeous corset with jeans and some pumps, and you have one rockin’ outfit.
Here’s a picture of me in my Stretch Metallic Mesh and Lace Corset. I love this corset and it makes me feel unbelievable. Since it’s a little chilly where I live right now (-18 degrees!), I wore it with a jacket. Looking at the pictures now, I wish I would have worn a pair of black or darker jeans. My husband sure loved this outfit!

A corset is a great addition to your wardrobe and can really add something special to a pair of jeans. I plan on adding a few more colors to my wardrobe soon. Maybe Santa will bring me one (and some cleavage to go with it! hehehe).

So, this might be a stupid question, but is it possible to tie a corset by yourself? I can totally see me contorting myself in the closet taking 2 hours trying to get ready to go out, HA!

@Julie – not a stupid question at all. The corset I have was very easy to put on by myself, but there are ones that have ties, ribbons and all that jazz and yes, I think those would be hard to put on by yourself. I guess we could hire a lady in waiting to help us. lol
