upiphotos909934-Barack-Obama Michelle Obama was radiant and beautiful at the Inaugural Ball on January 20th. She wore a white dress from designer Jason Wu. The dress was kept a huge secret and was unveiled as her and President Barack Obama walked out onto the stage at the ball.

The Smithsonian is hoping to display the gown and unveil it sometime this summer. It will be displayed in the First Ladies Collection at the National Museum of American History.

There’s quite a process in obtaining the dress and then repairs take place for any wear and tear that has happened. Needless to say, it’ll be awhile until we see the dress displayed at the Smithsonian.

They also are hoping to obtain the rights to her yellow Isabel Toledo outfit that she wore for the swearing in.

What did you think of our First Lady’s wardrobe choices? Her Inaugural Ball Gown was definitely my favorite.

I am looking forward to viewing her gown at the Smithsonian, she was the most beautiful 1st lady since Jackie O, she is truly a woman who Sets trends rather than follow them.
