Miley Cyrus: You Had Me…But Then You Lost Me

Okay, dahlings, so I’ve taken on the oh-so-horrific (pfffft!) job of digging through all the Teen Choice Awards photos. And – no surprise – there are jillions of Miley Cyrus.
Now, the photos I saw of Miles from the waist up were killer. Her hair is primo, her makeup divine, the dress promising. But then…dum dum dum! I see a full length. And indeed, the dress is promising. It’s quite fabby, in fact. So what kills this look in a hurry? It’s the frickety frackin’ boots, of course!
The inclusion of these boots must have been a mistake, I’m certain, because no stylist in their right mind would allow this dress on the red carpet without an amazing silver sandal. Hell, I’d even take Brooke Hogan’s see-through disasters in place of these Hee-Haw inspired shit-kickers. Eep.
Yanno, I suppose it’s not the boots’ fault they’re being misused. With the right outfit, they’re actually workable. But with this dress? Good Gawd, no.
