Oh dear, I want to love this soooo bad. No, I really, really do. Why? Because it took me a long time to subscribe to the Jenny from the Block magazine, but now that I finally do (she is a classic beauty, a huge talent and she hasn’t been in rehab or jail…that we know of) I really want to discover great pics of her.
But I can’t seem to find any. Ever. She’s almost always effing up fashion-wise somehow or some way and it grinds me. Grrrrr…
In this pic from E, Mrs. Anthony is looking radiant in so many ways, except…well, except for her friggin’ nightgown. I mean, really, does this not look like the kind of nightie you’d see in a Danielle Steele movie or on a soap starlet of advanced age? Of course it does, silly; you can’t deny it.
So…dammit. She’s almost perfect, but she just had to go and blow it by tumbling onto the red carpet in her sleepwear. And judging by her perfect makeup and smooth hair, she wasn’t even partaking in any boudoir debauchery that could possibly warrant the wearing of this wretched slumbershirt. Sigh.
Perhaps a splash of warm milk (with a little Creme de Cocoa) will put her over the edge and into dreamland.
Zzzzzzzzz…
I wonder if she fell asleep afterwards and had a dream that she was consumed by voluminous white material. Oh wait . . .
If only she’d cut off the damn sleeves, it might be a decent dress. And if we slashed the long gown about half way up so we could see her glorious legs? I feel like Cinderella’s mouse, trying to turn this nightie into a decent dress. There’s enough material there to dress a few J Los.
Schadenfreude – I think that would be a NIGHTMARE, now wouldn’t it? Yanno, I keep looking at this, hoping maybe I’ll begin to accept it just a little, but I just keep dozing off…
Rachel – Thanks for stopping by. I’m actually loving your “Quick Fix” ideas and wonder if you haven’t missed your calling as a fashionista/gown designer, hm?
Give Ms. Mork some scissors and let her have at this dress…I think we’ll see a Sexy Girlfriend J. Lo emerge in no time.
