I heard that she got a boob job (which unfortunately isn’t noticeable in this picture), but other than that nothing seems to have changed about her.  She still wears the exaggerated eyeliner, doesn’t seem to be eating, and has crazy hair (is that a pigtail in the back??).  I don’t even have any idea what the deal is with the glittery visor, but I’m guessing that it was an attempt to cover up her real hair since she seems to have left the house without her beehive wig.

Wow.  Winehouse is still getting stranger everyday.

Oh, but how could we have known this was merely because she wasn’t allowed to bring her bouffant wig on the plane (obviously it’s oversized-ness represents a bit of a security hazard for the rest of the passengers…no?)

The most fitting place for this particular brand of crazy to pop up again? Well, Amy is up on assault charges for punching a fan in London. So the courthouse is naturally where the bouffant made it’s first public appearance in quite some time.

Giant ugly wig – I wish I could say I missed you. But I didn’t. None of us did. Lady Gaga out-crazied you with her over the top hair and outfits. So now…the whole thing just looks sad, Giant ugly wig. Sad and tired. And s-a-d.

Ooooh…that’s right. Now I vaguely recall the mountain of “Amy Winehouse shuffling along the St. Lucia shore” photos. Scruffy doesn’t even begin to cover the extent to which you went native, Amy. I mean really – what was going through your mind at that point? Wait, don’t answer that. Please.

Anywho – back to this whole spectacle inside Gatwick North…I would have hoped that all that time and reflection would have reminded you that the extended cat eye was always intended to be a fleeting trend. Something to drop along with the giant bouffant wig (which, ahem, I hope we never see again).

But no. Here you are, four months later, still looking like a trainwreck after all that supposed beachside rest and relaxation. Amy, I think you need a bit more of a vacation from being Amy.

Or maybe consider finally reinventing what being Amy Winhouse means, hmm?

Naturally, a well paid PR flack spun this into an abandoned performance due to…storms.

The first sign that this comeback tour wasn’t going to work? Amy is wearing the same stupid wig that everyone was crazy for two years ago and laughs at now. Find a new wig, honey. And while you’re at it, put your bra away too please.

But today, I couldn’t avoid this moment any longer. It appears Winehouse has been on the beach long enough that she is now actually molting. That is no average sunburn, nor is the grotesque peeling happening on her leg normal.

Please go home, Amy. Just go home. No one is going to make you put on the grungy old beehive weave again if you don’t want to. You could even give up singing and go work for Starbucks indoors instead of subjecting yourself and those around you and us at home to this unfortunate display of has-been pop icon.

That’s right – Amy Winehouse.

When will girls learn how to get out of the car properly when camera flashes are going off in their face? Never mind – when will Amy Winehouse learn how to be a normal functioning human being? The days where this sultry voiced hot mess had us all won over are so far gone. No one is trying to replicate Winehouse’s beehive anymore. And the whole thing just gets more pathetic and sad by the day.

Nothing says classy quite like a giant beehive, dangling cigarette, and gangly stems bent about in a “I really, really have to find a loo, paps!” way. Ah, that Amy Winehouse. Such a fashion icon.

Now, on a normal human, this blouse and skirt could work for the office. Put a pair of summery slingbacks on along with some fabby bangle bracelets, and voila (just watch your hem length, loves). But somehow, AW manages to slut things up just enough to turn this look from “promising” to “puke-inducing”. Funny, that Amy.

Can never quite get things right, can she, dahlings?
