Is it true? Can it be possible? Is Britney Spears actually settling into motherhood and showing up in public looking reasonably well dressed and…happy? Not drugged out happy (I hope) but legitimately “happy” happy?
Are you actually telling me this woman in the photo below isn’t just another young mom in the park with her kids? Britney Spears never ceases to amaze me. There is probably no brand less appropriate for a semi-washed up-spending millions trying to come back-barely holding it together-mom of two than…Candies. This isn’t about talent, drive, commitment or anything even close to that.
Candies is about the pin-up girl allure that’s two-thirds sex kitten, one-third prude (and proud of it).

Stringy/multi-hued hair. Pink Wal-Mart-esque bra showing through/around her peekaboo shirt. Exposed zits (hey, we all get ‘em, but we don’t all have access to zillions of free beauty products, ahem).
The girl looks like a wreck.
The funny thing? The paparazzi’s caption on this photo said that Brit skipped the line at an ice cream joint to get herself (and her bodyguard) an ice cream sandwich cookie. Ha! There go those ass-kickin’ gym sessions, Brit. Next up, fried chicken!

So, wow. We all heard Britney Spears would be back at the MTV Video Music Awards, and yes, I’ll admit, I figured she’s resurrect her “train wreck” status with gusto.
But…
She looks freaking fabulous!
(Did I just say that out loud?)
It’s great to see a comeback, though I can’t for the life of me fathom how she could manage to secure three big-time awards, but hey, what do I know? Girl looks good, and that’s a start.
