Check this shit out: I haven’t seen so much ice since that horrid mermaid sculpture on my Hawaiian cruise with Adrian Grenier last week. Seriously, a whole lot of mining went into this couple’s bridal jewelry. A whole dern lot.

Anyhoo, this is my Snarkstress Shout Out to this stylish couple since I sadly had to miss the wedding and I’ve yet to give them a proper congrats. So congrats Mr. and Mrs. Cannon. And thanks for doing your part to keep the miners and jewelers of the world in business. Bless your hearts.

George Clooney

So Gorgeous George Clooney was set to be the wrapper of the Snarkstress Men About Town series yesterday, but when I saw that today was his birthday, I just had to save this sexy beast for your Tuesday pleasure.

Looking super-fly over the weekend, Clooney rocks the jeans and jacket look, pretty much putting anyone else who tries this to bed. What’s more? He’s got a manbag, people. A manbag! And while most gents would incur my shameless snarky wrath for even daring to don a manbag, George gets a big, fat Snarkstress Seal of Approval for such goings-on. He looks fab. All the men of the world (well, aside from Brad Pitt) should take note.

Anyhoo, loves, why don’t you join me in wishing George a Happy 47th Birthday? Perhaps if enough of us strike up a party, he’ll stop in.

Speed Racer’s Emile Hirsch

He’s a smidge scruffier than the rest, but the next stylish fella featured in the Snarkstress Men About Town Monday series is the Speed Racer himself, Emile Hirsch. His completely cazh look and floppy ‘do make him appear all skaterish, but in a Hollywood kind of way. This is definitely a look Anyman USA could duplicate without looking like a fraud.

So the next time you’re headed out for date night at the local brew pub, have your honey get his Emile on and bask in the glow of jealous looks from the ladies. Ahhh, sweet victory.

What do you think of Big’s, er, Chris’s jeans-with-suit-coat look, dahlings? I adore it and particularly like how he cazhed it up with the tee peeking out from under the button-up. That, of course, takes the look to just the right degree of “I-tired-hard-to-make-it-look-like-I-didn’t-try-hard”. It’s pure manly genius.

Therefore, my loves, Chris Noth hath secured a spot as drool-worthy on a Monday. No small feat for discerning fashion critics like we, no?

First up in the Snarkstress’s Men About Town Monday series is the ever-beautiful Brad Pitt, seen here on a beach in France toting around kid #3 out of 464 (or something like that). I am sooo loving Brad’s casual beachy style: the jeans, the white shirt, the hat that in no way resembles a newsboy. And, of course, his manly scruff most definitely adds to the overall dudeliciousness of him (not to mention the hot daddy “Awwww” factor). Hot cinders!

A couple new pics of the lovely Katie Holmes (seen, of course, with hubby Tom Cruise and daughter Suri) surfaced o’er the weekend, thereby signaling loud and clear why Katie is winning in the Fashion Icon poll in the right sidebar of this fabulous blog. (Uh, you have voted already, right? If not, dammit, get voting!)

Yanno dahlings, as much as my snarky self loves glitz and flash and funk, I also adore classic elegance to the enth degree. And that is something Mrs. Cruise does so. damn. well. She’s sleek, yet real; glamorous, yet reachable. I’ve completely fallen for Katie’s style (though, in my always-perfect opinion, it would be fabby if she smiled a bit more often, but hey).

And while we’re at it, may I take a moment to mention that Tommy totally looks great, too? Love the messy hair. Very fun for him and waaaay better than the toddler-esque ‘do from a couple months back, no?

So anyhoo, congrats, Katie, on holding on to the top spot of the Snarkstress Fashion Icon poll. I’m going to leave that puppy open for another few days or so, then officially declare a winner. Reese, my love, you have a little catching up to do….

So wow, loves. All-around talented guy Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs has gone and earned himself a big, fat star on the famed Hollywood Walk of Fame. And while that’s great and all since the man sure as hell has earned it, I think what he really deserves is a star for the Best Damn Dressed.

Now some say Diddy’s all-white fetish is egotistical and obnoxious, but I think it’s spectacular. It’s part of his gig, his schtick if you will. And not only that, but it’s all kinds of hot. Pure white ‘cept for a few select accessories = totally, unequivocally hot. On him. On Tom Cruise? Oh hail no!

Well, dahlings, it appears as though Pretty Boy Spencer Pratt and Beautiful Girl Heidi Montag, are taking things a bit too far in the “How-close-can-we-possibly-look-to-Ken-and-Barbie” department.

I mean, come on.

Since this is Spence’s standby dressed-up look, I’ll excuse everything but his crappy posture. But Heidi? Lawda mercy. Girlfriend’s hair screams “Wedding Day Barbie” and the slip, er, dress, screams “Wedding Day Barbie’s Honeymoon in Nashville goes awry”.

And don’t even get me started on those gawdawful, ugly-ass golden blocks on her feet. Gah!

So, I suppose it’s pretty obvious that I am very much packing up my Snarkstress Seal of Approval and saving it for when these two decide to look like human humans and not doll-like humans. Yanno?

Another request for a celeb closet raid, dahlings. This time, I’m after Brittany Snow’s gorgeous white trench coat.

Look at this thing - it’s fabulous! Now, it’s no secret my snarky self is head-over-heels for the classic black and white combo, but it still has to be a great cut to qualify for my Snarkstress Seal of Approval. Well, this thing has got the cut. It’s proportions are perfect.
