Usually I’m not really a Mary-Kate Olsen fan. Okay, that might be an understatement given that on most occasions she more closely resembles The Prince of Darkness or an urban cowboy than a former child TV star.
But, I think she’s on to something here.
The perfectly messy updo is probably what’s elevating this disheveled look from homely to kind of accidentally chic. That, plus the shoes that don’t look like they were found under a pile of boxes in some seedy back alley. Between the unbrushed hair, round sunglasses, and pug nose…is it just me, or does Mary-Kate Olsen look just like Ozzy Osborne, but blonde?
This is supposed to be a romantic bike ride in the East Village with her boyfriend, Nate Lowman. I wonder if he has noticed the resemblance as well…
I am not even sure what else to say here, other than the similarity is creeping me out and I only wish Mary-Kate would go back to looking like a vagrant and never wear these glasses again.

After a few moments of cuteness this past week, Mary-Kate Olsen was back to frump, but now I fear she’s gone too far. This pastel granny dress with black peep-toe Christians is a killer (and not in a good way!) combination. Plus, just WTF is up with that purse?
