But then, lucky for her, I realized that she is on the set of Sex & The City 2…in costume!!  Whew!  I was imagining that Billy Ray sent her out the door in this outfit and said, Go get ‘em honey!  Supposedly she doesn’t actually have any lines in SATC2, but this outfit definitely speaks a few lines on its own.  Now we get to spend the next few months wondering why the heck she could be wearing this…

I’m going to admit that the boots are pretty cute and I kind of want them, but the push-up bra action just makes me feel super uncomfortable.  No one wants to be caught checking out Miley Cyrus’ cleavage.  And I REALLY hope there is a good story behind that Brontosaurus necklace.

First with what is good here -  I am glad her sixteen year old face hasn’t been heavily caked in over the top trannie makeup for the Elle magazine cover. But then on to the disappointing…do we really need to have the lacy black bra hanging out of her top…? Conveniently positioned right under the large silver cross hanging from her throat.

But here you are, walking among a lawn full of maxi dresses and jeans all in support of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation 20th Annual “A Time for Heros” Celebrity Carnival in boots only a streetwalker could (or rather should) love.

Where are your parents again?

The cutoff jean shorts are heinous. I can’t forgive you for these. Don’t you remember what happened to Britney after she hooked up with Kevin Federline? She was wearing outfits like this, eating cheetos and having babies. Bad decisions, Miley.

I suggest you go home, put on a real pair of pants, find a shirt that doesn’t droop down to your naval and take Justin to the movies like a normal teenage girl.

Okay, dahlings, so I’ve taken on the oh-so-horrific (pfffft!) job of digging through all the Teen Choice Awards photos. And – no surprise – there are jillions of Miley Cyrus.

Now, the photos I saw of Miles from the waist up were killer. Her hair is primo, her makeup divine, the dress promising. But then…dum dum dum! I see a full length. And indeed, the dress is promising. It’s quite fabby, in fact. So what kills this look in a hurry? It’s the frickety frackin’ boots, of course!

The inclusion of these boots must have been a mistake, I’m certain, because no stylist in their right mind would allow this dress on the red carpet without an amazing silver sandal. Hell, I’d even take Brooke Hogan’s see-through disasters in place of these Hee-Haw inspired shit-kickers. Eep.

Yanno, I suppose it’s not the boots’ fault they’re being misused. With the right outfit, they’re actually workable. But with this dress? Good Gawd, no.

What fun it must be to be Miley Cyrus, huh loves? First, she gets a wax figure made out of her bad self. Then she gets to spend the day on a beach in Malibu with gobs of peeps falling all over her as she films her new Hannah Montana movie. Sigh. Why didn’t my star rise at 15?

In any case, I am admitting to being completely, utterly, to-the-point-of-no-return in love with this sundress. The color is fabulouso and the print, summer-iffic perfect. Plus, it’s one of those great cuts that effectively hides a bad night at Nachos-R-Us, if you know what I’m sayin’. I’d really love to score this cutie to round out my summer ‘drobe. Like, really.

‘Course I’ve never been a big fan of Hannah’s giant blond ‘do, but whatev. It’s her schtick and she makes a helluva lot more coin than moi, so who am I to judge?

What could possibly be more creepy than seeing an exact version of yourself staring back at you? Maybe if that “self” is you made out of wax.

‘Tis this case with Hannah Montana herself, Miley Cyrus, whose wax likeness was recently unveiled at the famed Madame Tussauds in London. Miles, incidentally, is one of the youngest people to have a figure created for her. How fab!

And truly, I couldn’t think of a more perf outfit for waxgirl to be wearing. This is the epitome of Miley’s star style, right down to the punch of color with her shoes. Truly, the artist here had a phenomenal grasp on what our girl’s all about and captured her beautifully.

Okay, cheap shot, but let’s just say that it’s good to see her looking youthful and non-jailbait-ish again, yanno?

I totally love this dress – think it would be most fabby for the Prom set. The flip flops and green tank underneath, not so much, but I’m thinking this might just be a wardrobe rehearsal (Gawd, let’s hope.)
