Is it fair? No, absolutely not. Women who are this unbelievably hot have an obligation to the rest of us to live up to the standards their genes set for them. Look at that face! Completely mangled under that awful slicked back do.

Other than the hair, which ruins everything else, the dress is cute and the shoes are incredible.

But who cares when your hair looks like it hasn’t seen shampoo in ten days?

Ballet flats. Those would have worked. A hair brush. That might have been a good idea. Basically if she just eliminated every single aspect of this outfit and started from scratch (with the guidance of a trained professional – you know, one of those people they call “stylists”) then maybe Kristen wouldn’t have looked like a junkie that mistakenly stumbled onto the red carpet while looking for her next fix.

You’re a lovely young girl, Kristen. All the potential in the world. Do yourself a favor and wait until you’re 21 before you try to dress yourself for a public appearance again.

I don’t love the way this dress is detailed with all the flaps of fabric, but it’s still quite cute on her and certainly one of the more stylish choices for the MTV Movie Awards. The dark eye makeup is fantastic and hint of blush makes her look like the happiest little actress in the world.

Note as well, this is appropriate use of booties (ahem, Cameron…!). All around, I’m impressed, Leighton. Maybe I was too harsh before and blonde does come naturally to you. Then again, I think my personal preference is still toward Blair Waldorf brunette.

No, I don’t like your hair, Holly. I don’t like your hair, or this outfit. I don’t even like the makeup. This whole take on 80s Like A Virgin Madonna isn’t working for you or sitting well with me.

Ultimately,  might have been able to pass the ensemble off as merely lame, but the way those pants are poofing out around your feet is making it look as though you are twenty pounds heavier than your obviously small frame might otherwise suggest. Maybe with skinny jeans the blazer and layers of necklaces might work better, but right now the pants are killing everything that might have any glimmer of potential.

Too bad. I have a feeling by the time you figure out this whole Hollywood schtik, I will have probably forgotten your name completely.

Granted, Cameron is in a class of her own when it comes to mile long legs that have a hard time looking bad in anything. But these blue booties were made for a short skirt and lots of sass, not dark denim skinny jeans. I think I can hear them weeping a little bit.

Flanked on either side of darling Cameron is Sofia Vassilieva and Abigail Breslin. These two young actresses are showing off totally appropriate, but still so stylish ways for walk down the red carpet when you’re not quite eligible for a driver’s license.

So, a win for both Sofia and Abigail…but an ‘also ran’ for Cameron. Ah well, honey. Better luck next time.

Lauren certainly has the figure for this dress. And the shoes are kind of naughty cute. But does she believe in this style? Is this really her? Hard to say anymore, but I suppose we’ll find out soon as she is no longer officially part of the MTV reality television bubble.

I’m concerned that her extensions are no longer happy with this arrangement either – they look limp and boring, like they were late to their appointment with a curling iron. As for the dress, well…as I said – I don’t think this is Lauren Conrad’s signature style. But then, does she even know what her signature style is anymore?

I like the shimmer, I like the funky shoes, and I like the big ‘ol hair. Thankfully, girl’s making some decent strides lately and my snarky self approves.

Aside from not having ink up and down her every square inch of skin, Charlize Theron looks to be taking on a Kat Von D-esque bad girl image…and it’s just not working.

This corset thingie is dreadful, dahlings, and the shoes are wretched as well. Charlize has always been a classic beauty in Hollywood, and this look is as far from her usual elegance and grace as could be. Blech.

Yes, I realize it’s okay to go outside your norm on occasion, and if this worked on her, I’d say “Hell, yeah! Work it, sexy bitch!” But it’s just. not. doing. it. for. her.
