Here is Taylor Momsen filming an episode of Gossip Girl wearing a completely inappropriate outfit.  Do I need to remind you that this sexy blonde strutting down the street in a hooker outfit is merely 16 years old??  16 years people!!  What are you trying to do to her!!?  Give her a ticket on the fast train to sit next to Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan as Queen of Looneyville?  I don’t know who picked this skirt, but it’s so ridiculously short that there seem to be pockets hanging out the bottom.

Gross.  Please just have some class.

The clothes. The shoes. The accessories. Good lord, they are divine. It’s reason enough to sit through the cornball lines and halfbaked conflict – let’s all just take a minute to remember when Carrie first opened the door to her new closet. I’m pretty sure every single fashion hungry Aidan lover out there switched teams and started rooting for Big.

Of course for anyone who doesn’t want to relive the eighties, a cold shiver might just run down your spine when you see Carrie decked out in a perm, white jeans and a sweatshirt. Sassy.

Though the outfit itself is fine (albeit a teensy bit young for you, dear – good thing you were a musician once upon a time) it’s you I continue to be concerned about, Courtney. Hopefully you continue to improve, cut it out with the dorky bangs – seriously, your hair looks like straw – poking out from under your hat, and we see you in better shape soon, sweetie. There is still hope, from what I can tell.

Seriously though – as much as I might have reservations about the knotted neckline paired with a floral skirt and Alexander McQueen shoes that would be better suited to an outfit that didn’t contain so much bright pink (these neon puppies just want to stand on their own, darling), this is a lovely fresh faced Mischa Barton at the Launch Party for ‘I Heart Ronson” fashion collection designed by Charlotte Ronson for JCPenney.

Maybe my Mischa standards are just that low that I am able to let these strange happenings pass without giving it much of a second thought. But it is seriously nice to see her out on the red carpet without a whole pile of emotional baggage weighing her down.

Let’s hope the road contains more days like this and less sulky sequined moments like a couple weeks ago.

Yes, tousled, confident looking Renee is ready for “The Late Show With David Letterman” and whatever else comes next in her little “My One And Only” PR circus. Let’s all hope that she continues to have pretty outfits such as this so we can focus on that instead of how much weight she is going to need to gain (again) for the next Bridget Jones film.

Strolling through SoHo with new dark hair and a simple black dress, this is a big improvement from the heinous Herbal Essences photoshoot and months of bad clothes and even worse eyeshadow that ensued.

There is no kohl eyeliner here, just a simple swipe of a more subdued hue. Oh sure, the girl still looks tired and a little worn down on life. But that’s really no comparison to being a walking poster child of young Hollywood trainwrecks.

Curvier, well rested and (hopefully) not under the influence. We’re rooting for you Mischa – let’s hope this sober stint sticks.

But what is a big deal is how Courtney is looking these days. I’m concerned about what I would find if those sunglasses came off, and even more perplexed by the bony grandma legs on her forty-something body.

Courtney, my darling…please stay home and get some help. You’ve been staying out of the spotlight for the most part and I think overall this is a great step for you. But the ongoing state of haggard and aged beyond your actual years is still a concern. Maybe take up knitting? Or scrapbooking? Or some other normal motherly craft?

A little normalcy goes a long way, Court. Really.

Here is Rihanna stepping out in New York City for some time with her friends at SoHo House and a little shopping at Tom Ford’s. You know you’re jealous of this lifestyle.

While the romper looks comfy and is a lovely color for Rihanna, I can’t say the same for her white bowler hat. Just one detail I might have left in the suitcase for this day trip. But this minor setback is counterbalanced by ridiculously good looking sunglasses that hint at vintage without going all out dirty hipster.

Oh sure – the guy looks like a greasy, scruffy poorly dressed mess of a man most of the time. His jeans are too tight, shirts too skimpy and you wonder just how he doesn’t get mistaken for a hobo on a daily basis.

Maybe he does – would be a good question to ask him one day – but for right now, when see photos like the ones of him walking through SoHo with a friend, I’m nothing but impressed for how he can look completely disheveled with confidence. The pants are the worst part but that doesn’t make the t-shirt any better. Is he nursing a bad hang over, on a date or having a business meeting?

You can’t really tell and I’m fairly certain under any of the above circumstances…he would dress about the same way.

Impressive? Hard to say. But it is a feat worth acknowledging.
