While I continue to be underwhelmed by Robert Pattison and his goofy facial expressions, Kristen Stewart is slowly moving up on my list of young stars.  When she’s running around in sweats and sneakers she looks like a regular old girl, but I do have to admit that when she cleans up she is impressively gorgeous.

Rihanna seems to have gotten a little confused about the dress code for the Glamour Magazine 2009 Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall in New York City.  While the rest of the women being honored showed up in short cocktail dresses and suits, Rihanna chose to wear what she had hanging in her closet and hadn’t had an opportunity to wear yet…a wedding dress???

Omg Carrie Underwood has become one of those celebrities who I just want TO BE!!!  I mean seriously…what is NOT amazingly perfect about her???  She has the hottest boyfriends, the best voice, the best clothes, makeup, hair, and on and on and on.  She even seems sweet…could that be possible?

Julia Stiles was out and about in SoHo this week – I will be honest and mention that up until these photos I had sort of forgotten about Julia since the last time I saw 10 Things I Hate About You running on television.

Horn-rimmed glasses are a great choice for many casual occasions. I can think of quite a few people who wear them very well. However, they tend to not pair them up with suits and ties – which is why Tim Daly’s appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of ‘Poliwood’ just isn’t working.

I would not describe Kelly Ripa as a fabulous example of fashion on most days. However, this polished look for a casual charity event in New York is lovely.
The jeans are tailored nicely, the top works with the blazer and the scarf is a nice touch. Exposed pink toes quietly  hint that Spring is on the way and the understated makeup is a nice change from the spackle usually needed for the bright lights of daytime television.
